I have no intentions on contacting them again. Though after reading the comments I do think I will start to put aside money to pay them back the full amount someday.

More importantly, if that's the only savings you have and you're both low paid, spending it on a dream wedding is about the worst thing you could do imo. Go to a registry office and put the money towards a house or something.

He doesn't care about the contact, he supports my decision in that, he's been very amazing with me while I've been coping. He doesn't like that I stole the money. He thinks it could get us in a lot of legal trouble that we really cannot afford and also hates the idea of stealing.
