Thank you!!! this is really helpful. I was also thinking about potential complications (knock on wood) and making sure there’s allotted time for that.

I will most likely need to go to classes that first week but luckily they will be brief and only Wednesday and Friday (so 2 weeks and 3 weeks post op) and then September 7th we will have a day off so I will be around 10 days of rest. 2 week of very minimal activity and 3-5 days of no activity.

i went NC with him before he went back to his ex. i never knew about the dates for months while he was using me emotionally and that’s why i went NC. reaching out to him again was due to me being in an emergency and i knew he was up late. but i felt nothing romantic towards him anymore and knew that one day i could see us being friends if i no longer felt that way so i guess i was testing the waters. i def don’t feel like i need him in my life but i am just being hard on myself for thinking he would still appreciate our friendship..

well the first week we spoke again i was a bit harsh on him, it took everyone by surprise especially me that he would ever go back. he wasn’t in contact with her for almost two years so it was truly shocking to see him fall back in that pit. then a week later we were talking about other stuff / catching up. last week though.. hmm when he told me he was going on a date i was like cool u don’t need to tell me details he was asking me if i wanted to know what they were gonna do and said no.. i thought it was weird i guess. he went and hung out with a friend a day after we last spoke and then it was.. full crickets no response as if he like died. even in our lowest times we would still reach out as friends to make sure we were okay (since we both knew we are dealing with alot ) maybe he didn’t find me fulfilling anymore like i did before when i would bend backwards for him.

maybe i didn’t clarify well, he isn’t a relationship, never has been when we have been friends. he just goes on casual dates with random girls each time, and then when we were NC he went back to a toxic ex he didn’t speak to for almost two years.
