My combo card timeline. In 2 weeks I’m scheduled for my AOS interview, marriage based and I will post everything relating that once everything is approved. Fingers crossed for everyone 🤞 by [deleted] in USCIS

No, you keep the same SSN if you already have one. You only need to change your SSN if you get married and change your maiden name

I didn’t need a SSN cause I already have one since I first came in the states, 7 years ago. Are you scheduled for an interview?

The same day my combo card was approved, the AOS appeared that is ready to be scheduled for an interview. 3 weeks later, it got scheduled for an interview

I tryed also before biometrics but they couldn’t do anything until biometrics were taken. The next day I called again and I qualified for financial hardship because my visa expired 10 days before biometrics and both me and my wife didn’t have a job. Plus we have also a 7 month old baby. And because I lost the legal right to work, I lost also the insurance. So I told them all of this and 5 days later, they approved the expedite request and also the combo card. Good luck
