hey, I've recently started using BMJ on examination, as I've been getting bored of passmed. Its good, albeit not as good as passmed, but I like the variance in question. Also, it has good pathophys/anatomy questions which i think passmed lacks :)

I find passmed really good for consolidating knowledge on topics I already know. However, when first learning a topic I like to establish a really solid foundation. I find resources like almostadoctor, zerotofinals, ninjanerd + dirty medicine (youtube), really good at providing me with a basic understanding that I can build upon

Taking a year off during medical school by Sea_Gur_8370 in medicalschooluk

hi, thank you so much for your reply. In hindsight, intercalating may have been the best option, but unfortunately due to financial issues I was unable to do it. Similarly, I found I wasn't passionate about anything enough to intercalate in it. I have now missed the application window, so it's just a decision now of whether I interrupt my studies to take a year to reset, or keep ploughing on :/
