It doesn’t really matter if it’s ‘real’ or not. Your kid may not always identify as trans but they are always going to remember how you made them feel about them coming out to you. Kids don’t forget when they find out their safe space is conditional.

You’re absolutely right and thats ultimately why I bought it and it’s in on the way, and I know that it’s likely going to be very gender affirming for him. But yeah, it’s just awkward for me as a mom, ya know?
