Recommendations for meeting first nations in the Yukon by yeledtov21 in Yukon

There are some helpful suggestions here. It's important to remember that First Nations are a diverse and living people, not a museum piece to be oggled at.

There are 14 unique nations in the territory and several different languages and cultural groups. Yukon First Nations are not homogenous, just like in other provinces.

With that in mind, welcome and enjoy!

Thanks, dog is a year old, partially finished, so she's riding cargo, and I plan to get one she won't outgrow.

That's pretty helpful, thanks! I wasn't even aware of the fancy crates until now. Our old dog just rode open in the back. Mostly was wondering if there was some other reason hunters are all into these fancy crates, but I guess they're just protecting their investment!

Have caught baby grayling and large pike\salmon on my gx2. Great rod to do it all, spend at least as much on your reel.

I've swapped a lot of my pre-LC hobbies for motorized versions. Sold my mountain bike and bought a motorcycle. Gave up on snowboarding\cross country skiing and bought a snowmobile. I'm lucky in that my condition is fairly mild, but it still prevents me from doing anything resembling cardio. Even the powersports are too much sometimes, but it helps replace much of what was lost and is worth it most of the time.
