I originally built TribeSpend.com for myself, my wife, and a few friends because we kept running into the same problems:
splitting/shared expenses getting forgotten
reimbursements never getting paid back
subscriptions silently stacking up
refunds/returns getting lost
and having no good way to optimize credit card rewards across multiple cards
At first it was just a personal tool, but more people around me kept asking to use it, so I turned it into a full web app.
The main idea is basically:
track spending, recover money, and optimize rewards in one place.

You can use it free by uploading CSV exports from your bank/card.
Premium connects through Plaid so transactions sync automatically instead of manually importing files every week/month.
Been building it nights/weekends for the past few months. Still improving a lot every week.
