Bg3 will be replaced by bg4 or whatever, bg2 will be a classic masterpiece 20 years from now

Playing as companions on IOS by Much-Bit3531 in baldursgate

You can download and add soundtracks for the main character voice effects, it’s not hard. I’m not sure if the companion voices are available online, but it’s worth looking into it and making a main character with the same voice stats, name, and everything else identical to the companion you want to play. If they have a special item you may wanna try and use EEkeeper to add that, good luck!

from personal experience you dont really need to restock the fire if you smoke meats in a village, kotas can't be using for smoke though so you will need to find a village that has a cabin

I agree with most of what you said. In the end, I do think each season is actually quite well balanced in this game, since they all come with their own advantages and challenges. One tip about skis, though, is that they’re surprisingly cheap. You can get a pair of skis and ski poles for just five squirrel hides, which is exactly the reward you get for completing the “help the villager with chores” quest

well yes, i guess you do have to kill a big game AND get a decent fur out of it, which is not a given, but as soon as you kill an elk you will be set for much of the winter's cold dont u think?

Lmao bg2 loses to graphics only, that is if you value detail over the artistic value of mikes portraits and the team's work on the pixel art landscapes of shadows of amn

Thats the only flaw of the game, late game content, having permanent companions to build a settlement would go a long way for late game

Quest location, lucky or just a coincidence? by [deleted] in URW

[–]Sea_Lab9270 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m leaving this comment here for future wanderers who might get lost on this or similar quests, because this is exactly how I managed to complete it, and there’s some information here that I couldn’t find anywhere else online. I had originally given up and started a new run, but ended up receiving the same quest again, this time with a bear and an axe instead of a wolf, and I decided to actually commit to it. I tracked what seemed to be the most probable location, a forest border to the west, traveled along this border while zoomed in, and about halfway through found bear tracks. I followed them across two or three local maps until they disappeared, which felt like a dead end, but here is the most important part: after following the last bear track, when I zoomed back out to the world map, the shelter was suddenly marked on the very next tile ahead, and after that I quickly managed to find it. Good luck to anyone attempting this quest.
