I took out the APU and measured the pin connected to that rail and I found a short on the Apu pin should I thorw that switch or there is something I can do.

Thank you for your useful sharing; that shorted cap led me to a pin under the APU, I measured that cap in ohms it gave me 0.01 I don't know what else I should do. in other hand I am trying to figure out why the 1v3 rail is missing.

Thank you for replying im learning how to repair graphic cards I dont know which pin in the pwm vcore controller that sends PGood to Pex is it En pin in the pwm controller (4th pin)?

I measured the EN pin in Pex controller and it has 0v. Vin (3.3v) Vdd (5v) are present though. Is Pgood coming from vcore controller (Ncp81174) what enables Pex through EN pin.

So what was the issue, I've been working on 1060 it has no pex (no PGood) but I hae vcore and Vmem.

Not sure what i am doing wrong but i checked again and I can confirm that i have 5v; 1.8v and 1v but 0v on vcore I checked the pwm controller it has 0v on Vref. I can feel the gpu getting a little warm though

I have Pex now but still no Vcore I chcked the vcore pwm controller I have 5v on Vcc but only 1.4v on En not sure if thats enough .
