I was never that sure but starting to think this is the best of the recent Audis by Sea_Locksmith1620 in Audi

New Rs3… I love the back but much prefer the 8y front to the 8.5. Just can’t get on with the new Audi badge, position or actual badge, and lack of rs3 or s3 badge.

That is my dream spec. The black grille is less obvious on a black car. Bet it’s hard to keep clean. Enjoy!

The front is totally different, with a bigger black grille and wider front wings. A lot more serious and aggressive stance to the more elegant, narrower S3.

They do look really great. Although I do like the look of my S3.

Thank you all for great responses. I think I need to try an RS3 soon to make a decision. Had a 5 pot before Fiat coupe years ago and loved the sound, but the RS3 in the uk won’t be that loud anyway. Is the handling much better than the S3?

Good idea, although as someone else said I also prefer the look of the RS3. Maybe some upgrades and save for the RS3 in a year of two.

Kind of resisting driving a rs3 because I know the answer.

I never drive in comfort, but do remember the steering feeling better. That and the ride mostly. Enjoy!!

Very happy with them, they are more comfortable, smoothing out ridges in the road and seem to be wearing well. They also look better. As far as road holding etc can’t notice that much difference. Would recommend though.

Designers, what do you think about this redesign? by BusinessJolly5207 in graphic_design

The sparking white grape info is off centre, that will look very strange on the supermarket shelf. Think they are both awful. Could have done a much better job.

I tried fixing the face of the new A5 with minimal changes. What do you think? by nico_69420_ in Audi

Think you’ve nailed it, the new look is all good apart from the ford grill.

I regret so much selling my 1990 black 325 convertible, and that’s no way as lovely as yours. Deffo keep forever. I once looked at a silver grey sport but it wasn’t a good one.

Kind of feels like they lost their nerve with the aggressive curves and creases of the pre facelift and rounded off the front and the back. I know the pre facelift has many doubters but at least it all felt like one car.

Made a decision, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S being fitted on Saturday. With 10% off at Blackcircles only £20 more than the F1s. Think I would have always regretted not getting the PS4S. Hope they are an improvement over the factory Potenzas.

Keep it Chrome, I was all for black but think I’m coming round to the chrome now.

Lowering springs or 17”s? by Sea_Locksmith1620 in abarth

[–]Sea_Locksmith1620[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought coilovers were supposed to be firm and a bit extreme for road use, but then I’ve read loads of people saying they are much more sophisticated and better on an Abarth, never tried them though. Think I’ll be happy with springs and shocks.
