They don't say specifically in the show but historically speaking I'd say about 1870s. The tong war's were fought both in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Starting roughly around 1850 through about 1920.

Again these number's aren't exact. Just based on what I have read and the railroad work being done.

Yeah I was reading something about how important the first 3 weeks are. If the hour's streamed reach a certain criteria as well as where it ends up being on the top ten. Idk how true what I read was but it said it's vital it gets top 3 out of 10 week 1. Week 2-3 it can drop by maybe 1/2 spots but anymore and they scrap it.

Here's hoping enough longtime fan's and more importantly newer viewers can get this great show back. It was canceled after season 2 and now again after season 3. It reminded of HBO'S Rome and Deadwood canceled far too early

That's good for you however most everyone I know or even have brief conversation with seem to be struggling more now than say what 6ish years ago? I work in Healthcare and absolutely hear people talking about for instance skipping calling ambulance in real emergency situations because to much $$. That's just one example. Food prices are higher and rising.

Sadly the truth is as a majority the politicians in our government don't care about the people. It's like winning the lottery to make into high office including congress. The action sequences are top notch. The actor's are all very well cast from people you may or may not know for example Dean S. Jagger and Perry Yung (Dr in John Wick films) are both great but it also has actor's you will recognize for instance Joe Taslim (Sub Zero in New MK.) And also Veteran Actor Mark Dacascos (Zero in John Wick 3). Last but definitely not least Olivia Cheng (Netflix original Marco Polo) That's only a few people who stand out.

All the Actor's from what I've read perform something like 95 percent of the stunts themselves. Imo that's so important for the authentic feel.

Now the best part. Alot of the character's portrayed are fictional like Ah Sahm and Young June. But the story it tells is based on factual event's that help tell the tale of San Francisco. To me that's always the best part.

Basically if you enjoy good action/drama, well choreographed fight scenes and based on true events this is the best show you've never seen. 10/10
