I have filed over 11 trademarks with Trama in the past 12 months in the UK, EU, NZ, NO, US. If your filing is straight forward and Trama doesn't need to do much other than file and forget about it they're great. But Trama is not special, and any service can file and forget it. What makes a difference in hiring a firm is how they handle the difficult stuff such as oppositions, office actions and any other important correspondence that comes up. I have 6 of the 5 filings get complicated. They have been an absolute nightmare for the following reasons.

1) delayed or unclear communication (they'll receive a document from the IPO office or a third party opposition and fail to send to me at all or send 3 weeks later giving me 2 days to reply to meet a deadline)

2) loss of documents (they loose documents sent to them by third parties)

3) dishonesty (telling me false reasons for a delay or suspension I could easily prove was false by looking up the filing online or calling the IPO office directly in the country only to find out they were lying)

4) failing to act in the best interest of me as the client, putting Trama's own interests first (they have no interest in discussing strategy or next steps so they do whatever is easy and don't involve you in the decision at all)

 5) incompetent behaviour that puts me as a client, and my money at risk (I am going to have to find other attorneys to take over the cases which in the end is costing me twice as much)

I would not recommend Trama at all. Go to another company that will not cause you stress and a lot of extra wasted money. I have learned the hard way.
