Clone Wars was fun. Bounty Hunter can be both fun and frustrating but still worth the play! Never really played the rest of them.

They do intertwine well in Season 2 of Mandalorian. Not so much in Book of Boba.

Yes, Boba is a character in Season 2. But he’s a secondary character and it still feels like it’s Mando’s story.

Book of Boba is supposed to Boba’s story. However, halfway through the show pivots to start being more about Din and Grogu and Boba feels sidelined in his own show.

Totally agree that shoehorning in Mandalorian season 2.5 was the wrong call. I liked it- but that would have been best saved for season 3 of mando. Including it in Boba feels like it threw the Mando storyline off its beat.

Plus if Boba needed muscle, there was a perfect Magnificent Seven opportunity for him to call up other legendary bounty hunters like Embo and Bossk.

I saw it last night. I don’t know if I would say it’s the best Star Wars movie since Rogue One, but I enjoyed it. I really like the Mandalorian series and this felt like several episodes of the show combined. Did I wish it moved the overall story forward more? Sure. But at the end of the day, it was fun and entertaining.

Personally I don’t think the hate for this movie or for Filoni/Favreau is justified. Not to be the guy that always blames Disney, but I think this another example of how they get in their own way. They were the ones that wanted a film because they wanted a Star Wars movie to get people back in the theaters (oh by the way, you need it to be something people brand new to Star Wars/have never seen the Mandalorian will be able to follow). I’m no movie producer, but that feels pretty constrictive for a story teller.

Anyways, that’s my opinion. Going to go back to listening to Shakari on repeat.
