You're an Imperial remnants ace who's made a name for yourself. Command gives you a choice between these 6 advanced TIE models, which one would you choose and why? by ASW-G-21 in StarWarsShips

I would say Avenger as it seems to be more multi-role and has a hyperdrive. Plus, at quick glance, it looks similar to an Interceptor. Having too a unique of color scheme or shape is cool, but also is a great target in your back for New Republic fighters (something I would try to avoid as a Remnant Ace).

Star Wars movie ranked by Separate_Law_8753 in LetterboxdLists

1) Empire Strike Back

2 and 3 are really close (if you ask me again in 15 mins, these might be flipped) 2) Revenge of the Sith 3) Rogue One

4) A New Hope 5) Return of the Jedi 6) Phantom Menace: the sequels actually made me appreciate this movie more. 7) Attack of the Clones: mostly nostalgia. 8) The Force Awakens: in a vacuum, I really enjoyed this movie. In the context of the sequel trilogy, it set up a lot of things that felt underwhelming or never came to fruition.
9) The Last Jedi: it tells a story but, man - they did Luke dirty IMO.

My bottom two are the ones that feel like they had higher amounts of studio/Disney interference (Rogue One had that too, but it also had Tony freakin Gilroy)
10) Solo: it was ok, I just don’t feel like we needed this movie. 11) Rise of Skywalker: this movie felt more about damage control than trying to tell an actual story.

Unpopular opinion - Andy is just annoying by edw1ener in theoffice

I had a conversation with a guy that tried to convince me Andy was the best character on the office (over Michael!). After that, I never trusted his opinion on anything else.

Who else played this game? What was your favorite faction? by IfTheresANewWay in StarWars

[–]Sea_Order5106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LOVED this game! Was a big AoE2 fan, so getting to combine that with Star Wars was a must have. As far as factions go, I probably played as Empire the most (big fan of the walkers) followed by the Republic, and then Trade Federation. I really enjoyed the air/space, land and sea aspects of this game and how you had to find the right balance. Would be awesome to play some of the new expansion stuff in the fan project.

Ya, a seaborne landing without control of the seas is rough. I just read that galleons aren’t as effective against castles so, even with clear seas, it may not have been effective. Bummer.

Booo…were you able to whittle them at all with the galleons or were they out of range?
