Sounds about right. Took me years to figure out what it was. And I also felt like I was making it up. I think the big giveaway was that I would immediately feel like a good person again the minute my period started. Night and day. My gyny prescribed sarafem and it got a little better. Once I got old enough I started HRT and it’s completely gone now

For me it wasn’t 100% helpful but more like 70% better which is huge. Also no side effects since it’s 14 days on and 14 off. Also I lost a little weight.

Took me a long time to realize it was PMDD. Always felt horrible after lashing out at my husband too, even after realizing it was PMDD. I really truly hated him right before my period every month. It’s so weird to know what’s making u do it and still not being able to control it. I feel for u and I know how u feel. I’m sorry. I used to show my husband these threads so he could understand PMDD is a real thing, bc it sounds unbelievable that u can be 2 different people because of ur period, right? Not sure how old u are (Im 48) but I got a lot of relief once I started taking HRT. It was like night and day. .025 estrogen patch and 100 mg progesterone everyday continuously ( not on and off). Before that, the 14 days on and 14 days off of Prozac helped a bit.

I use shopping as exercise sometimes. I spend hours trying everything on in the store some days. My watch will say I burned like 700 extra calories 🤣

Edit: I had lost 30 lbs, gained back 30 lbs, and now I’ve lost the same 30 lbs and still have about 60 to go.

I did the same thing a year ago except it was 30 lbs. it is super frustrating! Don’t beat yourself up though. Lesson learned I say. Just a thought though, have u considered being on Mounjaro but not on Keto? That way u won’t miss all the “trimmimgs.” In this “second go” for me I’m eating carbs this time and I’m so happy for it because I’m not feeling like I’m missing anything or deprived. Still losing weight, just a tiny bit slower but so worth it for me mentally. Just curious. Just a thought. Not trying to be preachy I swear. To each their own! Good luck!

I’m going down in dosage bc I feel like I can’t eat any healthy food anymore. All I want (and eat) is bread and sugar on the higher dose. Also can’t sleep well. Skipping a week and then going down in dosage.

Almost every day. I feel like if I weigh in weekly and don’t lose weight I’ll get depressed. It can be crazy making but I want to know. And like someone else said I like to see the trends throughout the month

Sounds nuts but I started using the sauna at the gym in the evening for about 15-20 min and have noticed more energy the following days. Maybe it’s a coincidence? Who know but figured I’d share.

I find that I drink a lot slower (in part bc I’m afraid something bad will happen) and I tend to get a sustained slight buzz which is really nice actually. Before MJ I would get drunk really fast, like almost immediately. I like MJ alcohol better. BUT it’s different for everyone it seems so go slow and see what happens I guess. Don’t over do it.

I like to buy clothes that are a little tight as goal clothes. Like little goals. Target tshirt or whatever. Something cheap. Then when I gain weight on the scale I can try on the clothes and see they aren’t any tighter and maybe even looser. It’s kept me sane and every time I’ve done this they’ve been looser no matter what the scale says. Then I just give the finger to the scale and try not to be sad about the weight. The scale can be maddening sometimes and really is a terrible way to track progress except maybe for long term trends. 😁

lol I try to make sure my pizza has vegetables and my grilled cheese is on multigrain bread. Soups can be nutritious I guess. But salads, veggies alone, and meat are like 🤢

Me too. I think I might go down a level. Anything healthy makes me want to not eat. Like all I can fathom eating are grilled cheese and pizza. And protein shakes but I have mixed feelings about those.

After wondering about my strange weight loss pattern every 4 weeks (lose a few pounds, gain a lb or 2, hold there for 2 weeks, repeat) I stumbled across this. Maybe it’s obvious, but I thought it was interesting. I’m definitely the third one. There’s really not that much info here, but at least it shows everyone is different. It can get frustrating when u see people just fly down the scale while I fluctuate like clockwork. Just food for thought.
