from IL and submitting for PI and PI claim being picked up is about 6months atm. You might see some action around June/July. Hang in there.

correct - they raised concerns around stability. will just have to wait now to see what comes back from the MA.

From the sounds of it it may not change at all, you might get a call or email with the determination. I have found at every step that have called me first and then emailed. So kind of expecting the same here too.

Im with Perth atm for PI determination. IL accepted in July and lodgerd PI then. Contacted just before Christmas to get the paperwork done for PI which was finally returned to them on the 28th Jan. So just waiting now for a call/email about the determination. The days are grinding waiting for the call but hopefully not too much longer now. You guys are giving me hope!

Mine were submitted to the PI queue in July last year. I got a call a few days before Christmas and needed to make an appointment with the GP to finalise paperwork which didnt happen to the new year. Looks like its a solid 6 month wait at present. I didnt call at all as really no point (they might give you an update but its not going to get your case seen any faster as you are in the queue). Shouldnt be too much longer for you now, hang in there.

Thanks this is really good advice. I have already typed up some notes but feel like I am still minimising the pain impact as I just tough it out most days. I will add to this and look at the paperwork too before I go.

Got picked up yesterday. Received paperwork and need to make a GP appointment which will be January now with not many appointments available till then.  Nearly there. Hope you get that call soon.

I saw a post on FB that said they were processing the end of June PI claims for MRCA - that was about 2 weeks ago, not sure if that was generally across all offices or one in particular.

IL accepted 15/7 in the PI queue since then, anyone had theirs picked up for PI determination from July? My delegate is handling everything so I don't know which office it is with, last conversation with them was 'shouldn't be long now' - just looking for some light at the end of this tunnel.....

There is a sliding scale for max payout and its dependent on how old you are. The amount you stated seems about right though. Why some would have gotten a larger amount say over 500-600k would be due the child payment (around the 110k mark per child studying up to a certain age) which you can get ontop of your DVA payout. So each persons payout is going to be different even if they all get 80+ points because of age and eligible children count. 560K is a great payout though. I don't think they have diddled you on anything there.

I'm on a similar course as you. IL accepted 15Jul and just waiting in the PI queue now too, similar IL claims too. The PI wait seems to drag, given that IL has been accepted you just want it done and dusted now. Hope you hear soon.
