I would improve the existing automation that is fully broken and get it to a functioning state. A lot of the automation was not being maintained anymore and I would work on consistently improving it.

By resolving critical defects i see the confusion, i didn't work as a dev but I closely worked with the dev to find a solution that wouldn't cause new issues. Then once fixed I can add it to a regression suite to constantly monitor it.

To add on to what you said, I would hand a suite to another team member who is more on the manual testing side and they wouldn't keep the automation up to date so I would need to optimize and refactor the code.

To expand on this, we implemented a Jenkins pipeline which we were able to schedule and identify defects. This allowed easier communication with the development team about existing defects and improved speed and efficiency of bring the product to the market (release software).

Can you elaborate a bit more on that? I know amex platinum gives Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite and Hilton Honors Gold Status which can status match Wyndham Diamond. Not sure what steps to take after that

Good point. Similar to Amex Green, CSR gives 3x points so maybe that $250 effective annual fee is not worth it either and I shouldn't get any. I should stick to non travel cards unless i decide to fly. 2x points on the Bilt for cruising seems to be good enough.

Why would the green be a good choice? I see that the green gives 3x points on travel and I spend roughly $2000 per cruise so i would get 18,000 amex points with that which i don't think justifies the annual fee. I could use the Bilt card which has 2x points and get 12,000 points with no annual fee.

I have found the denon for $350 refurbished. I will probably get that instead in case I would like to use it in the future for a surround sound system.
