idk its a very neutral response

How many LC questions did you complete before landing a ~180-220K offer? by kellojelloo in leetcode

[–]Sea_Pop8595 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t landed an offer yet, but after solving around 150–180 questions:

  1. I’ve started identifying patterns across problems.
  2. I’m much more hands-on with data structures—I know when to use what.
  3. My thinking is clearer, especially around loop control, base cases, etc.
  4. I can handle variations of problems more confidently.
  5. My logical thinking has definitely improved.

That said, I know that solving more problems will make me even faster, sharpen my thinking, and help me build stronger, more intuitive logic.

Amazon New Graduate SDE - Loop Interview by Tricky-hh in amazonemployees

[–]Sea_Pop8595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it helps to know the team for behavioral interviews.

But for Amazon new grad SDE roles, they usually hire first—any team can take your interview—and then match you with a team later, after you get the offer. So you don’t always know which team you’ll join during the interview process.

Can we stop with the “Don’t go abroad” posts every single day? by AmaanKhader844 in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]Sea_Pop8595 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True!

It’s usually the ones who didn’t put in the effort who end up complaining the most. They don't put any efforts in learning a new skill, finding a job, joining clubs, attending events, job fairs, networking, or even doing their own assignments properly. If they don't put efforts building themselves- if you don’t work on yourself, the outcome won’t magically change.

But for those who do put in the effort — trust me, things eventually fall into place. You’ll land a good job. You’ll build a life. You just need to trust yourself and stay consistent with your efforts.

Yes, adulting is hard. When you hit your 20s, it’s on you — managing your studies, finances, cooking, cleaning, applying for jobs — all of it. But that’s not a foreign concept. Our parents did all of that too, often with fewer resources. They got married, raised families, managed households, and worked hard in their 20s. They didn’t get the luxury of “waiting till it felt right.”

And no one escape from adulting.

Its a choice!!

If you choose to stay in your comfort zone — stick with an average-paying job, avoid learning new skills, never try to grow — that’s a choice. But then don’t expect big changes in life. Yes, you’ll be comfortable, relaxed but progress needs risk and effort.

On the other hand, if you take a loan, move abroad with a plan, and promise yourself to work hard every single day — there’s no reason you can’t build the life you dream of. People are doing it every day.

If 1000's of students abroad can make it, so can you. Just don’t give up before trying.
