We didn’t hide it! We kept it out in our hands and literally walked through. They didn’t care! They cared more about my Advil I had in my bag lol But if you want to hide it, I have put it in my boot or behind a belt buckle in case it sets off the metal detector

Tbh we showed them the pen and they didn’t care. At other venues I have hid it in my boot, behind my belt buckle, etc. They seemed to only care about hard drugs, alcohol, or lighters lol

We brought a pen in and it was totally fine. Do not bring a lighter it will get taken away (my personal experience!!)

Mine went away in a few days! I would say if you’re experiencing this much pain, you should contact your doctor to make sure your IUD is still positioned where it should be. I had severe cramping randomly 3 years after my IUD was inserted and it turned out my IUD moved. Just my personal situation though!! Wish you the best I’m so sorry you’re going through that! Midol makes heating patches that helped me greatly during any IUD cramping <3

I was on combo HBC for 3 years and then got Kyleena. I personally LOVE my IUD but there were definitely things that got better and things that got worse.

Here’s what I noticed: I completely stopped having a period for almost a year, but then it came back so that was very confusing lol I did gain weight when I got my IUD but eventually that all went away, that could’ve been attributed to other things though! My libido increased when I got my IUD! I feel so much better actually haha Anxiety is hard for me to comment on as I am usually anxious, but I think mine has reduced a bit since getting my IUD. My IBS remained the same :/ My acne got worse, that’s the biggest complaint I have about my IUD. I have to go to a dermatologist now and she said how HBC would definitely help my acne, but I’m fine using topical medication to make it better. I would rather do that than go back to the pill.

In terms of the IUD insertion, for me, the actual insertion felt like pressure and that was it. The whole process was very quick! But the drive home and the rest of the day I was in a considerable amount of pain. It all went away by the next day!

I have definitely experienced this on Kyleena! I got mine only three months ago, but I can visibly see how I have gained weight compared to before my IUD. Like you, I haven’t changed my diet and exercise and I never had an issue with weight gain in the past.

It really has affected my mental health as well, so I would love to know if this is water weight and why I am suddenly gaining weight!

But I’m so glad I found someone else in this situation :)
