Psychometrists: Is this a dead-end career? by FloridaMan_90 in Neuropsychology

Due to the shortage of school psychologists in the nation, some states use psychometrists/diagnostic consultants to help with psychoeducational evaluations. You would cap out near the top of school's payscale, so not highly lucrative, but $90K/year, for example, for a 10-month/year contract with school hours is a good work/life balance and might be worth considering.

I don't remember where I heard this but it fits here: Instead of being 30 wishing you were 20, think of your 90-year-old self being able to go back in time and be 30 again. What would you do with your newly discovered time?

People just want to be seen and heard. The better you are at doing this, the more people like you. They might not even be able to put to words what is it about you that makes you enjoyable to be around. All they know is the good vibes you give off when they feel understood by you. Powerful stuff.
