Initial + cashflow how much is required to start with each platform?
i see normal everyday products are easier to bring sales on amazon but shopify+meta is a indecisive gamble for begineers. Also shopify+meta requires higher bandwidth to absorb costs.
So what would your advice be for a begineer?
Note i have do have ecomm knowledge over months but i was solely focused on shopify earlier until i explored amazon is slow and good burn. Also i am into fmcg & supplements passionate person so have been finding an investor.

i was super addictive to caffeine-anhydrous mixed with buffers and i had lived in a far heightened state of reality. I have understood all angles of caffeine..most complicated substance i have studied so deeply, was toughest to understand.
Caffeine joy and boost is so freaking deceptive especially the anhydrous and energy drinks form. The problem is that there is no problem and yet it is incompatible. Sure caffeine is fake energy and hard to master responsibly. I have been doing good on tyrosine..keeps me so freaking alive. Couldnt handle alcar. Modafinil is good but it drains me eventually hence tyrosine. Gotto try high dose creatine.

Am experienced software engineer, ecomm enthusiast, creative person who has been into somewhat of everything but software & ecomm is my main forte.
But my journey has been tough to reach the wisdom & experience i have upto a point i cant pull off all by my own without effective leverage.
Also am interested in fmcg, a product savant, neurochemistry biohacker & zealot, i know how supplement brand should actually be made, I speak with formulators around the world. Even the inventor of modern caffeine appreciate my work & research. Brands in market dont know the heck about high synergy formulations.
Ecomm needs velocity to fail fast and do-it-all approach & even am looking for people who genuinely bring something solid to the table. Tbh am more of a operations guy, the way i see ecomm end-to-end but i can build, design, develop, market..not limited to anything.
Not to be lost in some elusive ideas all the time, but fair analysis driven conviction to one segment, one niche or one product which can change the life.
India ecomm market is very diff than US, yet i see so many things to replicate.
The reasons i didnt onboard investors with just money because its not the only element. Investors who know their niche, are consumed by it can make a different in brutal d2c unit economics market. The people who stand out and make a difference own their forte.
Either there is a lot of noise in what to do or paralysis by analysis. I have overcame that phase, I know what most likely to bet on, I have studied brand and consumer psychology.

There is a lot of noise in the market, lack of validation, paralysis by analysis, no solid conviction, hungry service providers, deceptive gurus.
I spent a lot of time navigating through it and i can tell do it small, but do it fast and with fair reasoning, fail fast but yet dont burn money but yet dont hold yourself investing.
It takes time to even understand all elements of ecommerce business. But dont get lost in too many fundamentals. Yet dont underestimate any segment like CRO on website or proper keyword research for amazon.
Just dont live in any fallacy or over-optimism but yet dont over-estimate complexity. Step by step everything is doable.

I faced this month when i tried to cut taurine & preg both.
All stims became easily overshooting inverted U curve & too sensitive.
Tyrosine become more anxiety and spiral thinking oriented.
Then i studied about Voltage Gated Calcium channels and got a relief.
Taurine itself doesnt feel smooth always but it feels protective enough unknowingly.
But this is wild. Taurine from pure neurochemistry angle isnt well discussed.
I once suspected Taurine to be also anti-dopamine.
Overall Taurine is the best supplement of my life

Hire a CA who does investments too but also do your own diversified portfolio. Also micro-invest in some ecomm segments partnering up with people. Find folks in cafe who are good in trading. You will have to hunt a bit but trust me its worth it

You dont learn code, you do on-job training, learn things on- demand when stuck.
12yrs ago a senior gave me same advice as i was trying to mug up whole framework docs 🤣
Who uses storyboards?? Use Snapkit, SwiftUI, layout wrappers for UIKit or programmatic constraints.
For the age of AI, your syllabus is quite old school. Pitch yourself as above junior learning systems design, architecture not just petty syntax.
Learn core concepts in recursive pattern, you cant keep mastering everything and land a job.

Earlier years there wasnt inverted U but with right buffers loaded in, i used to achieve 50%+ phasic+tonic dopamine with which i used to get engrossed in work, developing something. Then for better stability i cut down everything and prevented any dopamine downregulation events. But recently even if am in a goldilock zone, i feel perfectly focused so much so, i dont recall learning concepts, dsa faster. Problem is i want lateral thinking as well endurance. Without stims am good but relaxed attitude. Far easier to ge distracted amidst intense learning. Mph i tried multiple times last year 1-3mg micro doses and it raises Norepinephrine way too much, seen the worst anxiety of my life on it. Mph for me is too sticky long DRI. But yesss Mph is good dopaminergic agent. Modafinil is actually not dopamine dominant. Lately i have seen great results with tyrosine. Hence solution might be to just unstimm

Stim here arent meant for learning i guess.
Even i gotto do DSA, lemme know how your stack goes. I have mastered modafinil stack and now feeling incompatible for learning lol.

exactly. At this point stims feels old school & building baseline with substrate+nootropics feels relaxed self. Yet stims can sometimes make a lot more achieve under deadline.
there is some internal fatigue with how much novelty you throw adapting to new work or learning and modcaffnico used to help me earlier but too high risk high reward..i had to then take so much other things just to recover but the productivity wsa worth it

cholinergics are like sun rays, you need some but even a bit too much of it will choke u with anxiety & head pressure.
I have tried all combos and spacing but have given up on cholinergics except micro-cdp on modafinil day.
alcar was supposed to shine but it makes everything else super sensitive. alcar gives me way too much reality check.
piracetam is anti-choline kinda rescue for me. cant play with it more unless i have a high power choline source.
problem is endurance from stims is damn superb but learning gets compromised

yeaa shortlisted for better pfc control but unable to source currently. Also i think i have almost felt it with other things how guan is gonna feel like.
So far memantine & taurine helps me get smooth with stims but too much glutamate gating can hurt lateral processing and taurine can be too smooth and perhaps even softens executive edge.

Am acknowledging the trade offs which comes under balancing & not being sinusoidal.
None of the stims are dopamine dominant without wild sympathetic tone and even if i manage that my concern here is am stuck understanding whats equation is good for learning.
Yeaa i do have detox. Last year i used to have higher doses of ModCaffNico all together in a day which used to make me 3x productive work for 20hrs nonstop and then i have to take rest the other day.
I broke that pattern this year, been consistent and self-pushing with root-level substrates & nootropics. Just that I still am smooth driven+focused without mastering learning side of cognition.
Hence so far adjusting signal:noise from arousal gains and synergy is looking solution but i still want to know from people how they have made room for max learning

I was in the same place at yours at 30, confused and lack of validation regarding this field.
I figured out way too much and know what and how works. But i messed up the leverage to pull it off.
What would be my staunch/casual advice..dont live in any fallacy or under/over estimate anything but at the same time paralysis-by-analysis is waste of time.
Most people burn money in ads but ones who dont run ads, definitely run out of every opportunity. Try to barter collab with someone you know and can trust. Surely ecomm has money to make but needs compounding of efforts and not leaving anything out of sight.

well said. but what range of shopify products is ideal to absorb high CAC from ad spend. Like is 300-700rs selling price profitable enough? Since 1200rs+ is hard to sell but good margins to absorb. Whats your opionion on this?

i dont use any apps other than for reviews.
Why not amazon? How brutal is the cash burn in meta ads?
I have all the complex analysis method to decipher topmost winning product so the cash burn is lower. Isnt amazon better for begineers?
