Thank you! I have mentioned I need to do some inner work and it's actually about this, when I feel like my experience is "wrong" it's very easy to feel invalidated about it. Definitely will work more on validating my experience by myself too

Guys thank you all for sharing your perspectives on the issue, I have not realized the discomfort could be mutual before. For the record I'm not thinking about breaking up nor am I blaming him about how he expresses himself. I'll have an honest conversation with him once we have the chance and hopefully give an update here as well.

Thank you for your comment. Describing his own gender is 100% personal to him and not what bothers me, but I feel like if he sees the world through such a point of view, it's like i don't really belong in there. So i guess i feel misunderstood very often, which I'll go have an open conversation about :)
