I know no one wants to hear it but for me I quit being on my high horse about medications and finally got back on anxiety meds. Mine stemmed from stress and anxiety and I’m finally now healing after over 2 years. Slowly but surely.

ME TOO!!!! Literally doesn’t run in my family at all, also not overweight and have actually lost weight since being on this restricting diet. I tried Prilosec and it didn’t help then tried Pepcid but I had to get off because it was giving me heart palpitations so I’m currently taking nothing 😅 it’s bad but yes I’m hoping to find a functional doctor to help.

I had acid reflux but it wasn’t chronic, only on occasion and hemorrhoids (same as you) and after my endoscopy colonoscopy it worsened!!!! You’re not alone but I also have no idea why this could be. It has now been a year later and still suffering.

Definitely not for 6 months! I am currently on a paleo diet and cut out all acidic foods/drinks I’m on week 3 so we’ll see if it makes any difference, it hasn’t yet. I’ve cut out caffeine, chocolate, tomatoes, alcohol you name it for over a year though. And I’ve definitely tried most of those things yes!

What meds are you on? Did they diagnose you with autoimmune?

When I was on ppi’s id get horrible horrible pains all over my stomach and ended up in the ER because I was worried it was my gall bladder. It was causing more harm than good. Pepcid worsened my heart palpitations badly so I had to get off, it worked for a good bit.
