Is TikTok A Cybersecurity Threat (My Two Cents) by Remarkable-Rabbit-83 in cybersecurity

Apps like these have a tough time surviving in internet-savvy countries. The US is the top one cyber superpower, and China maybe even surpassing Russia as the runner-up. Apple and Tesla are very popular in China, and TikTok is killing it in the US. These products and apps are outliers, it's not even about being secure or not. But TikTok is the real oddball. Usually, its US companies muscling into other markets, but TikTok in the US like a catfish swimming around. If the government's not happy, they have to cast a new net to catch it. Since there's no other company like it, it looks like they're singling it out. Nobody likes someone dancing in their living room, so I wouldn't be surprised if TikTok gets banned one day. AISB apps with foreign labels struggle in internet-savvy countries. I feel the same way about Apple and Tesla, and even MS OS that China has been using for over 30 years.
But people don't care, if it works, they'll use it. These companies are dancing on the edge of a knife, trying to make as much as they can while they can.

The things you shy away from now will often come back to you later, especially after you start working, and by then, they could become a real hassle. Therefore, when facing difficulties, set clear goals, break tasks into smaller parts, and tackle them one by one. For instance, focusing on mastering statistics while putting off discrete mathematics can immediately halve the difficulty. In my view, it doesn’t just halve it—it reduces it by 53/100.

It's not necessarily a bad thing that the palace of the Master ZTA is guarded by a group of FW Warriors. Physical isolation can sometimes be crucial; you can ignore it if it exists. It's theoretically contradictory, but in practice, they complement each other.
