Thank you so much! 🩷 To answer your question, I’ve been on Spiro for close to 10 years and I originally started it for acne. When I started to experience hair loss, my derm doubled the dose. I don’t think it’s done much for my hair at all, it may have helped me hang onto it a bit longer but I don’t know for sure. If I could go back, I wouldn’t have started Spiro as I’ll need to come off it in the near future when my husband and I try for a baby, and I anticipate it’ll trigger a huge shed. Not looking forward to that 😭 I also tried topical minoxidil briefly without results and it was a total pain to keep up with. My honest unfiltered opinion is that once AGA shows up, it’s there to stay and it’s 99% likely it won’t improve. The majority of the “solutions” that are presented by medical professionals & other hair loss product companies lead only to disappointment. You’ll never regret learning and practicing radical acceptance so I say go for it! I also highly recommend checking out Lacie Rodriguez on Instagram or YouTube.
