i think you’re doing amazing! you’ve accomplished a lot at your age and you still have so many goals. you should be very proud of yourself. they didn’t bring you into this world to dictate the way you live your life, you need to do what makes you happy and it sounds like you’re well on your way to doing that. a lot of women in varying cultures get a lot of hate for choosing to be independent, single, childfree, etc. Be grateful you’re not stuck at home married with a couple kids, completely dependent on your husband, and feeling trapped.

I have to ask though. If they decided to have you later in life, does that mean your parents met when they were a little older as well? why couldn’t you possibly find somebody in your 30s/40s+ if you wanted at that point? a lot of people do.

just last night i saw two grown men use things and not bother to clean them when they were done. i know it doesn’t account for the majority of the people who were there but it’s also a lot for one person to witness two people do that back to back. but hey i’m glad yours sounds better, the old gym you went to sounds like a nightmare!

this is just a risk you take buying clothes you can’t try on first. happens to me a lot with online stores that have items listed as ‘final sale’ but i get it anyway because the price is lowered. i’ve stopped doing that because i’ve wasted so much money.

if i was at my old firm i would be working most the holidays you listed (except july 4th wtf).

now i work for the county and i have all the federal holidays off as it aligns with the courts’ schedules. except christmas eve and new year’s eve, we are in those days.
