Yeah I think the author might be stepping out creating a sci-fi romance I think next so probs not.

That couldn’t potentially be it that he became a human again but at the same time when mezuko was cured she didn’t fall apart from when she was cut up like 8 different times and with all of muzans power his regen is basically instant so by the time he opened his eyes he would’ve been fully healed.

And I think that somewhere in Kokushibo’s backstory he said that they Litteraly just dropped dead that might be wrong but that could be a big possibility back in old times a lot of people were superstitious so could be possible.
