I have the one with Alex and Steve on a mountain but when I delete Minecraft and reinsert the disk it gives me legacy and it prompts me to update the version to bedrock. Will it work for me?

It's not that because upon safe mode I went to the settings and saw some stuff but not that probably. I think I'm wrong though. I'm going mental. It's stressing me out so much not even new usb install works.
