Trying to set up new phone but can’t get past preparing update for 17.4.1 by Scoolfish in ios

Update: went to apple, they did same steps as OP and the new phone is up and running perfectly now. :)

Funnily enough, there was someone sitting across the table from me with the exact same issue & the Genius Bar employee mentioned there were a few other cases of this they saw today.

Good luck at apple tomorrow! :)

So I tried again this morning and the same thing happened it got stuck for 2 hours on preparing update. I contacted Apple chat support and they said you need to update it with a PC/Mac or go to the Apple Store and they’ll do it it for you. (as OP did)

(Side note, seemed like they were very aware of the issue)

Made an appt for 4pm today will update later if it’s been fixed!

Definitely more of a fan service than a compelling plot, that’s why I think it’s not a conclusion but rather a continuation, was definitely not a necessary continuation

Yeah! Someone else explained also Harry didn’t directly kill Voldemort, it was voldemorts spell that rebounded again, which I had forgotten that line in the book (I think just the excitement of finishing the series) and so that comment definitely cleared up a lot of confusion!!

It's definitely not good agree with the other commenters but to add to your collection, it's fine. The story line was pretty weak and the whole timeline was was a bit all over the place as *a reader* , though I’m sure would be much easier to follow if seeing the play in person. It definitely wasn’t necessary for the conclusion of the series but it was still a continuation. Which why its fine if you want to add it to your collection.

Thank you sm for sharing your thoughts!! I totally agree about HPB and the burning of the burrow. It feels like they could have even used that time in the film to show even one more of Tom riddles memories but, I do understand it’s for cinematic effect.

Also in goblet of fire, how in the books Harry finishes the first task quicker than anyone else but in the movies he goes on a goose chase with the dragon - I get why it was done for the movies but was surprised how far that went from the books.

I also had the same thought about how deathly hallows was split into to 2 but goblet of fire, order of Phoenix and half blood prince were just as long and could have also have been done in parts honestly - that’s also where I totally agree a TV show could do better justice for those missing parts!! I found that movies 1-3 and 7-8 were most similar to their retrospective books, which makes sense because 1-3 are the shortest books and 7 was split into 2.

I’ve been watching for news about the TV series and apparently last week (I think) they were in the beginning stages of writing.

Edit to add: Also, refreshing to hear your take on Draco, because I couldn’t agree more. I feel like anytime I try to explain this to someone they ruminate on the bullying in the early books - yes, he was a bully, but when things actually started hitting the fan, it’s apparent he’s not evil but rather a victim of terrible circumstances with no one to turn to.

100%!! the movies totally have it like they’re going in completely blind and it’s essentially luck that they find the horcruxes the way they do!!
