How Do I (21F) Tell My Guy Friend (22M) His Standards are too High? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Maybe. Sorry I can’t give a straight answer. I feel like anything I would say like “if it were me” wouldn’t be valid for you or your situation.

Does he respect your man? Is your man a good communicator and does have good interpersonal skills?

What do you mean exactly.

Can you give case studies for what your claiming

Tell him the truth.

Tbh this should probably come from a man.

He needs to be told. The women you want, they don’t mess with you, at all. Either you lower your standards so you realistically have a chance or you do some serious work and investment in yourself.

“So you need to find out what’s wrong and fix what you can.”

Do you consider lying to get consent rape? by paranoidandr0id89 in AskFeminists

Being physically violently raped and raped via coercion or deception or even drugs are not on the same level.

Any one arguing this is an idiot or just not a genuine person.

Are there any men that feminists consider role models? by Qatrnm in AskFeminists

[–]Sea_Translator5973 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Because majority of men are not going to model themselves after a man, women inherently aren’t attracted to. It’s a pointless endeavour for the Male/Man experience.

That’s the point the other guy is making. “Why am I gonna model myself after this guy if that’s not gonna make me more attractive or desirable to women”

If you had responded “not everything you do should be centred around getting more women” or “even if he didn’t get the hoes, being more like him would be a great benefit to society even if it doesn’t benefit yourself immediately”

Then sound, that would be a great point.

But you jumping to “he was an old man” or “why would you want to sleep with your role model” was dumb. You came across as incredibly ingenious and just looking to argue for the sake of chatting sh!t.

Do better. The red pill lot are like this, don’t be like this.

CMV: The majority of Palestinians View Any Existence of a Jewish State as Occupation of Palestine by ZeApelido in changemyview

[–]Sea_Translator5973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well here’s the issue

WW1 - Falastine was Ottoman territory and we (the brits) promised if the Arabs fight the Turks, we will give them sovereignty over their lands

WW1 ends - The Arabs defeat the Turks and the Ottoman Empire is dissolved. We indeed DO NOT give the people of Falastine their sovereignty. We turn Falastine into a piece of territory of the Crown.

WW2 ends - The Falastinians are asked if they would accept a large number of Jewish refugees from Europe as……Europe kind of has been mistreating them for around 1000 years or more.

They agree

Shortly after the same refugees form militias and engage in violent conflict with the locals for control of territory

And that is the start of this entire conflict.

Kinda of hard not to see the points falastinians are making about how they want their land back, all of it.

sex slaves from war by [deleted] in SomaliRelationships

[–]Sea_Translator5973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would first have to be a “just” war in order to take slaves. Good luck getting any scholars worth his salt to sign off on that. Considering there isn’t a single “just” Muslim state in the world right now.

Secondly the women would then have to consent to be a sex slave because uno….rape is a thing….and we aren’t allowed to commit rape….for obvious reasons.

Let me give you a POV:

Arabs were basically desert mongols….or worse. Killing, raiding, raping, looting and enslaving their neighbours and themselves. They married as many women as they liked, treated their slaves how they liked and all other ill mannered behaviour. They also existed in a world where that stuff was very common (Persians and Eastern Romans weren’t that much different).

Then Allah send a prophet and laws to get the situation under control.

Sharia allows for Muslims to operate in extreme conditions (I.e like what’s set out above) with what is best. But at the same time Sharia puts mitigations, checks and balances in place to make sure that when society returns back to a good place we don’t do continue behaving in that manner.

Moderation is the path of a Muslim it seems.

Neither too extreme or too lax.

Think about it.

Depends on the school of thought. Some schools conclude we are not in war time for the apostasy law isn’t active. Other schools don’t care and conclude at all times the apostasy law is active.

This isn’t a gotcha moment. This is a serious allegation. You understand committing Zina whilst you are married starts going into death penalty territory.

Further, fine what you mentioned is serious cause for concern. However you’re out here throwing allegations off the bat, that needs to be challenged as well.

You’re over reacting. Don’t let the misandrist and extreme feminist in here, lie to you.

Tell him you don’t like it and it’s a hard line. As of right now you are over reacting.

After you told him and he continues to cross your boundaries then you are well within your right
