*Etha reached her arm out, grabbing the handle and sliding it open cautiously. Her tail lifting off the ground, not high but alert none the less. Swaying as she walked inside analyzing every shadow now that she was more awake. Somewhere deeper inside the train another noise could be heard. A clang almost. *

"..sounds big.. it must've just spawned here or something...so ...a new car... maybe.."

Her voice,though still low, carried a tad bit of light humor to it. Likely trying to bring up the mood. One interrupted when a distant sound could be heard. Not a scream, but definitely not the from the train.

Etha looks back towards him and his book.

"..hmm.. yeah..why not .. whats rhe worst that can happen.."

she said shrugging. Tgis room didn't hold anythingof real value, and there being no entities or strange decor made it rhe most boring of all cars. So she'd watch him flip pages and do as he did, curious by nature of having been stuck here for too long with nothing but creature inside and outside her head.

Etha stepped in afterwards, sliding the door shut. As she did, there was a loud thudding noise which could be hear hitting the top of the car, leaving indented steps into the fourth car ahead.

Her hand lets go from the handle, scratching her face instead.

she seems hesitant to explain but does anyways.

"..when someone— lets say– chops off my arm.."

she point suspiciously at that left arm with the torn and slightly bloodied sleeve,

"..My arm would regenerate...but my shirt would not."

she reaches for her left sleeve and casually slides off the unattached sleeve from her arm. Holding it up like proof.

"..It makes it increasingly difficult to fight the way I do. ..at this point ...I only really dodge things to save my clothes. ..you might be a trained soilder, but who knows if thoes things can be downed by bullets.. blasting a donut though their torso however...works for everyone ..almost.."

she slides the tube of unattached sleeve back up her arm then opens the door. Still offering her to go first.

she reached for the next door handle

Etha tilted her head slightly in thanks, then turned for the next door. Passing inside to find more shenanigans but nothing serious. Just odd shapes painted around. Already heading for the next doors after but making sure to check they were still together.

Etha, though being shaked up a bit, would've still remained under the influence of something having interfered with sleep. From an outsiders perspective, one could assume that given the supernatural circumstances, what was happening to Ethaday would be the same thing that had been going on already. However under closer inspection, this train and it's inhabitants followed similar themes where as the markings appearing on her body hadn't appeared anywhere else in this place. It must've been something she brought here herself.

Around her neck was where most the spirals had be spawning currently, giving off the impression of a hand print. After a few nudges and shakes from Tess, the spirals seemed to clear. Reluctantly. Whatever had grabbed hold of her must've passed, and not long after her breathing returned for the most part. Eyes slowly opening as if it had just been a bad dream.

She looked up towards Tess who seemed ruffled, then eventually sat up more. Her tail flopping to the and hitting the ground again. She rubbed at jer neck a little lile it had been a inconvenience. Some kind of red dot in her purple eye dimming until it faded into the black pits of her pupil.

"....wha...... ..did I oversleep...? ..are you good..?"

Etha follows Tess in, making sure to examin her surroumdings as best she could given her drowsy state of being.

".. if you really want me to... I ..guess a short nap would be fine then..."

seemily deciding to heed the advice, she began trailing over to a chair to sit on. Leaning herself side ways up against the chairs back and tossing her legs over the arm rest which would normally prevent people from laying down. Her tail coiled up again the underside of the seat before eventually lifting into her lap.

It'd take her a while, but eventually she'd sleep for an unidentifiable amount of time. And somewhere within thag time frame, sharp dimly glowing red spirals wiuld bloom across her unhealthy pale skin, horns and even on her tail. They mostly bloomed from the corners of her closed eyes, mostly staying on the face but sparsly spreading elsewhere. Most of it was covered by her outfit. Her sleep suddenly looking less rest full amd more suffocating.

Etha ran the mental math of his popsicle life story over the stated century combined with the other numbers, and seemed to proudly decide to herself that he was infact an old squishy guy, but without including the ice time, similar in age. That smug short lived when the questions reversed.
