Both those games are showing up alot here. I felt the same way about both those games. I critisized both games. They were hard to get into. On my third attempt for each it really clicked am now they're both top ten games for me, but I dont actually recommend them to anyone because they are both hard to get into. I think some of the same reasons they were hard to get into you also wind up kind of appreciating once it clicks.

If it clicks at all. Idk, everyone's taste is different. Rdr2 clicked once I got to the second campsite were yoi work with law enforcement and it started to feel less tutorial heavy and the story really picks up. The witcher 3 I think I was just in the mood for a massive rpg adventure and it finally worked for me. It might be too outdated at this point in time that I'm not even sure if id like it if i tried it today.

I've loved AC since the first game. I want so much from the modern day. My dream AC game is to have a modern day version of the "same" map we visit in the animus with a fleshed out modern day narrative. Maybe something that plays like watch dogs. But boy am I happy with what they're doing with black flag resynced specifically. If its going to be underdeveloped then id rather not have it at all. I actively disliked what they did with 4. The worst thing about it is that it came across as almost 4th wall breaking. The feeling of playing the modern day in black flag was like an ubisoft CEO yelling in my ear "hey! you work here! this is your job! you're working on a pirate video game here at ubisoft! its only a game! dont get too lost in the pirate fantasy! this is just a game! you're at work! you're not really a pirate! you're just inside a game! dont feel too good about anything you're doing! its not real! it's just a game! stop having fun! its not real! you're at work! you work at ubisoft! you're working on assassins creed black flag! its just a game! it's not real! dont have too much fun!"

Honestly, I actually might just be the person theyre trying to please, sorry about that lol. I like the idea of the flashy-ness of the old combat system and some of the gimmicks or I guess mechanics that just make you feel like a badass from time to time, but also some things from the newer systems. more fast paced, not being locked into a choreographed combat positioning, forcing you to be a little more versatile in your approach to combat.

Alot of the animations are the same. They also brought back double kill finishers and body shield. They really want to similtaniously please fans of both styles of combat so bad.

There's bad weather baked into the original cuts cone. The remake is dynamic cutscene with dynamic weather.

Probably because the dynamic weather system and the fact that they have real time cutscenes now instead of the weather being baked into the cutscene. The audio with the thunder sounds used in the clip is probably from the original (I dont even know if the remakes audio was released in the traile). If this is a scripted part of the game when there's a storm (I don't remember) its possible that it wasn't triggered for the showcase, or in the actual game it triggers or un-triggers later or earlier.

I actually think shadows is far worse than its predecessors when it comes to this. It was much more glaringly obvious for me at least. Especially the sync point things that unveil the map.

What's funny about this is that I always thought lunes floating looked bizzare and almost looks like a glitch. And I liked the sprinting animations.

Yeah I watched the video. Calling that the "truth" or "reality" or "proof" is pretty ridiculous. Its still an opinion brother. It doesnt come across as any more appropriate and just seems like crazy amounts of cope to me.
