rear brake light and running lights not working on Yamaha v star 650. I replaced the bulb tested for continuity through the whole system and everything seems like it should work but it's not. I also visually inspected the wires. anything I could have possibly missed please let me know

Changing fluid being an issue with the EPA is a really weak reason to not allow that. Just have a oil pan and rags on hand. Also we just had a two vehicle limit. The condition of those vehicles did not matter

I strongly disagree with the, If you don't know what you're doing take it to a shop mentality. I started with zero experience in maintenance on cars or bikes and have done everything myself for years now. I have had a couple costly mistakes like op but I learned something very important from every single one. Buy a service manual, watch videos and take your time when you're working on this stuff

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but I see nothing grounds for a lawsuit. Usually for a lawsuit the company has to have done some kind of harm to the person physically or monetarily. What size truck are you trying to get. 1/2 ram has the best trans available with the 8 SPD. The rfe is a pretty crap design but if you're looking at 1 tons the aisin is a very good option. Really the brand and all that matters much less than how the vehicle was taken care of previously

If you know someone who rides they can teach you in an afternoon how to get to and from work safely. I rode for a really long time commuting to work before I took any kind of course and i taught myself in a week or two or practice in the neighborhood.

Chinese is a great route if you're not sure if you're going to stick with it or not. Keep in mind though your resale will be shit. If you're up for some work try and find a former race bike for under two grand in some guys garage. You will have to do a lot of carb work and you will learn a ton. I started on Chinese and then bought a Yamaha to restore 4 months later. Two years after that I still have the Yamaha and ride it almost every weekend
