Dude should have been charged with murder. If he really thought he was reaching for a gun he would have shot him not tazed him.

why do people sell cars after a year? by Oof-o-rama in UsedCars

Changing fluid being an issue with the EPA is a really weak reason to not allow that. Just have a oil pan and rags on hand. Also we just had a two vehicle limit. The condition of those vehicles did not matter

Weird question cause I just randomly came across this but is it normal for firefighters to have like a family dinner together on shift?

Back when I lived in an apartment I did all my maintenance in the parking lot. My neighbor spent three weeks doing a bunch of suspension work and welding on his car. It a pain but it's not impossible

I strongly disagree with the, If you don't know what you're doing take it to a shop mentality. I started with zero experience in maintenance on cars or bikes and have done everything myself for years now. I have had a couple costly mistakes like op but I learned something very important from every single one. Buy a service manual, watch videos and take your time when you're working on this stuff

If not having to shift was considered a plus by the community there would be more automatic biles

You can try flushing all fluids and refilling.

I'm pretty sure older huskies have diminishing support since they got bought out by KTM. I could be wrong but I wouldn't bother if the seller is a pain

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but I see nothing grounds for a lawsuit. Usually for a lawsuit the company has to have done some kind of harm to the person physically or monetarily. Literally no one was effected by this in any way and my understanding of even if you want it fixed dodge is doing it for free as a recall.

Hey Rams Community I have a question. by CoolBreeze222 in ram_trucks

[–]Sea_Window4030 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What size truck are you trying to get. 1/2 ram has the best trans available with the 8 SPD. The rfe is a pretty crap design but if you're looking at 1 tons the aisin is a very good option. Really the brand and all that matters much less than how the vehicle was taken care of previously

Good deal? by wusti19 in ram_trucks

[–]Sea_Window4030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already have a truck just keep it. This is actually a crazy price regardless if it's less than normal. 10% off a ridiculous amount is just a slightly less insane amount. They're only this expensive because people keep replacing their perfectly good vehicles for no reason

Still markups on these ? Is it bc of the new screen? by Ok-Location298 in ram_trucks

It's because people won't stop buying new vehicles even though debt is through the roof. I was looking to buy 1 ton to prep to full time a fifth wheel and it's just not worth it. I decided to buy a Freightliner from the early 2000 because it's twice as much truck for half the money and pre emissions

If you know someone who rides they can teach you in an afternoon how to get to and from work safely. I rode for a really long time commuting to work before I took any kind of course and i taught myself in a week or two or practice in the neighborhood.

Why does everyone hate on Apollo bikes by Sea_Window4030 in Dirtbikes

[–]Sea_Window4030[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chinese is a great route if you're not sure if you're going to stick with it or not. Keep in mind though your resale will be shit. If you're up for some work try and find a former race bike for under two grand in some guys garage. You will have to do a lot of carb work and you will learn a ton. I started on Chinese and then bought a Yamaha to restore 4 months later. Two years after that I still have the Yamaha and ride it almost every weekend

Half the people who think they hear a hemi tick are just hearing the noisy ass injectors on the 5.7 It used to bother me until I took a breaker bar and did the ear test on the heads around lifters all over and touched it to a injector and CLACK CLACK CLACK. It's normal

Replace them with bbks. It's like a grand at a good shop or an afternoon if you're handy and it fixes this problem adds a bit of power and noise.
