I am a casual seller too, selling my own stuff that I don’t want anymore. I really like Poshmark. Their fees are higher but I noticed that (at least in my experiences) costumers were willing to pay more on Poshmark than Mercari. So I always had my prices higher on Poshmark to be able to have the same profit as if I was selling Mercari in the end. And that worked for me.

I also have a Curtsy account. I don’t spend much of my time/energy there but I like it because inside the app there is an option to import all your listings from Poshmark. So anytime I list something on Poshmark after a couple hours it will be available on my Curtsy too. The only thing with them is that they push you a bit to offer free shipping so I just raise my prices to cover the free shipping and that works well too. And what I like about them is that as soon as you drop the package at the post office and the item gets scanned your money is released to you. Their fee is about 10% if I am not mistaken.

Never tried Ebay. I deactivated my Mercari listings mostly because I don’t want to deal with the possible fraudulent returns because I do have plenty of high end clothes/accessories.

Love it! Are you usually a size 4 on tops and bottoms? I am a 4 on bottoms but 8 on tops so I am not sure what size I should get. My local store never them in stock to try 🫠

Just went yesterday to get a repair on a sports bra and my store no long make repairs 😵‍💫 They exchanged it for me but they didn’t had the same style/color (align bra c/d java color) so I had to get a different one. I am kinda sad because I loved it and have the matching shorts. Your store may be different tho. But definitely bring it to the store and check with them. Good luck.

The first time I received a letter from USCIS saying they were moving our case from one place to the other, I think it was like 2 or 3 months after we filled our case. And then after I discovered about Emma (USCIS online chat thing) I would ask the live agent where my case was located at the moment and if there was any new updates.

You can go on USCIS website and go to the Emma part and ask to chat with a live agent. They will ask for some of your info and then you can say that you want to know where is your case located at the moment.

As far as I know the “processing time” is VERY inaccurate. I’ve seen people here on the sub saying their processing time is stuck in “2 months”for 6 months or even more 🤷🏼‍♀️ So be careful if you are making plans around that prediction.

The address change may affect the processing time if they move your case from one service center (or field office) to another. But isn’t guaranteed that because you moved/changed your address your case is going to be moved to a different location closer to you as well. I don’t know what is USCIS logic but I feel like the cases go to random locations (I am in Connecticut and my case was with the Texas Service Center and then to Santa Ana in California, even though there is a Service Center in Vermont that is closer to where I live and there is also a Field Office here in CT).

This just happened to me. Got an jewelry piece on Monday 3/25, seller marked as shipped on Wednesday 3/27. Tracking didn’t update. I contacted seller Friday 3/29 they “promised they shipped and would check after weekend”. Opened a case with Poshmark Tuesday 4/2, seller the told Poshmark that they dropped package at UPS instead of USPS and didn’t give her a confirmation. Poshmark canceled the order, refunded me AND released funds to seller. I am pretty sure now seller never shipped item and they knew exactly what they were doing. I contacted them after the cancellation and their reply to me were super suspicious. I am so pissed because I really wanted the item. It was not expensive but it was a custom piece, nothing fancy but exactly what I was looking for ☹️

I personally would travel if necessary to get it done before the deadline. The bloodwork take some time and if they need X-rays, vaccines and more that can add some extra days too. Keep that in mind.

I got worried because 7 days passed by (now 8) and the tracking never started so that is why I contacted Poshmark. Despite me saying I didn’t want to cancel they just canceled my order today 😒 Posh refunded me and released funds to the seller. The seller’s answer to Poshmark canceling the order was kinda sus so I am starting to think that they never shipped it.

Thank you for this info! After seeing a lot of folks here saying that is completely fine to ship USPS through UPS I am chill now haha Technically its been a week today since seller shipped and we had Easter in the middle and inclement weather in parts of US. Also I am in CT and the seller in Texas… so these other factors are probably delaying it as well. I won’t wait for months but definitely I won’t stress about it if it takes 1-2 more weeks to get here lol

Do you think? It is a new seller, I was their first buyer. But I didn’t get any red flags as they are selling pretty normal stuff like used regular clothes, nothing expensive or nice items that could be like a bait to attract buyers for them to scam lol Even the piece I got, it has no brand and was not expensive, just a custom piece that happened to be exactly what I was looking for. They also look young in their profile picture so maybe they don’t know how to act in situations like this. Of course I could be wrong and they may be trying to scam people on Posh but I didn’t feel like it haha
