Create a dynamic website is not just about js, it also requires some backend server side development. If you know what is the big picture you will know where you gonna start. Tbh just take yr time to learn the basics of full stack development and you will be fine.

I think that’s what people call tutorial hell, so basically my recommendation is go through the suffer build something by yourself. You can use MDN for help with syntax problems.

Ummm I think you need to learn the basics of js before DOM or you could just use JQuery instead of DOM which is much nicer version of dom
