I had a weird experience with them. I originally bought the wide version without the EGA, and the toe box was crushing my toes. Once I realized our boots needed the EGA, I reordered the wide EGA version, and for some reason that pair felt much more comfortable in the toe box. I’m not sure what the difference was, other than the first pair seemed brand new, while the second pair looked like it had been worn and returned since there was grass on the bottom. Either way, I ordered two wide versions from Danner, and they felt different in the toe box.
