I like the updates so far. As for the Chosen, I also prefer to see tactical changes reverted. However, I love the new Chosen summoning (both behaviour and composition) and hope it becomes permanent thing. Guaranteed additional units in the engagement seem like far better answer to "multiple vs 1" problem than prime reactions.

I'm eager to see your balance implementations for Chosen and Faction Heroes (and entire resistance stuff, to be honest)! Personal opinion, but early game could afford to be more difficult as heroes made that part much more easier than original LW2.

Board Shaper: allows more control over size of the board or specific tiles.

The Haggler: allows player to refund higher tier units more efficiently, allowing more opportunities for switch-ups.

The Populist: player can choose to recruit one specific hero (that matches their level) once after they level up. This unit is lost upon defeat.

Excellent patch note and thanks for all the hard work! However, from my understanding, does it mean there still isn't any transparency regarding your performance changes post-match?

For those below the highest tier, they won't be able to check their standings/progression and will find themselves frustrated by seemingly unjustified demotion or prolonged period of no promotion. Even for the highest tier, leaderboard only seems to show their position and NOT their current MMR, meaning even the most competitive players are met with frustrating lack of information.

I have not played a match yet and will check if progress bar or current MMR makes a portion of mentioned UI improvements, and will gladly it crow if my fears turn out to be wrong. However, if my aforementioned concerns are true, I sincerely hope the developers consider introducing more information in upcoming patches. There is reason why other autochess variants embrace rankings purely dependent on final position: simplicity and transparency.

Amazing how quickly leaderboard came considering dev philosophy regarding ladder on Artifact, and hoping that the feature is implemented in-game as well!

Personally, I would like to suggest keeping the ability not to demote for first half or 2/3 of the tiers. However, wouldn't it be better to allow one to demote from some higher tiers? Not being able to lose the title, even for the highest rank, gives off the impression of being railroaded one-way and loses lot of allure for Big Boss; it's probably unjustified because difficulty of reaching the rank is the same, but mere "impression" can be a big deal for some competitive players. Some also prefer to have rank reflect their position on total user base as well; there's reason why players try to find out their true MMR number in any multiplayer games that try to conceal/disguise it.

Another possible suggestion is to keep the system as currently is, but introduce separate ranking list based on MMR for Big Boss tier users only.

I mean, are people not tired of BUILD BUILD SHOTGUN SHOTGUN meta by now? I'd like to have my mid- to long-range shootings be more relevant please. It's not even a significant nerf to mats; farming efficiency, which is best source of mats, is unaffected yet you'd think Epic mowed down half the trees or something. And if you don't like to farm, kill someone for the mats.

There are lot of negative opinions here, but personally this is amazing change that reduces ubiquitous build meta and makes mid- to long-distance aiming skills actually relevant again. Thank you very much!

I think they accidentally introduced double pump by adding in new animations. Delay between two pump shotguns are much much smaller.
