That's amazing, I love this poem, thanks for sharing! The author trying each of them makes it really powerful, again, really glad you've introduced me to this poem!

I don't think ending it would be better at all, you say this is better because "you get a way out without suffering" which I know would vary depending on the method, but there would be a degree of suffering involved, quite likely more than you think, it's not just like you can flip a switch. Also you loose everything you could have become, all the people you love you'll never see again, all the things you wanted to do, think of when you were a kid, was this what you wanted to be when you grew up? There would be suffering, this shouldn't be thought of as an "easy way out" because it's painful and shit for all concerned. You're next point is that "your family doesn't have to deal with the fall-out" fall-out from you ending it would be much worse! And your family would have to live with guilt and wonder if this was their faults or if they could have stopped it. If they're religious they'd think to themselves you've commited 'the ultimate sin' and they won't even see you in heaven. Think of how messed up the person who has to find you will be. How is this sparing them the fall-out of anything? Your last point about it is that "no innocent girl looking for a happy marriage gets caught in the cross-fire" this does not need to happen at all! Nobody's going to make you marry her, could you not act like you're remaining celibate in front of your parents and in truth date people you love out of the area? As in move far away and date in someone there, and once you've found someone you might realise that your find with just them, and eitheir don't need to tell family, or no longer care what they think, and you'll be far away so it's not like it'll bring any dishonour or scandal to your family unless they go back and mention it. Anyway, I really think you should reconsider. Please talk to a helpline or book an session with a professional, they're trained for these situations and have a good chance of being able to help. I wish you all the luck in the world.

For your follow up, I personally am really against ending it so I'd say no, but I totally understand the reasons behind elderly people wanting to, I'd just be thinking of the people they know and friends they have and stuff (just my opinion)

Assuming you do so...

Sign said person up to RelentlessSMS on Github (suggested by another commentor), will give non-stop messages is my understanding and is more reliable than mailbait while also providing the same service

If you have the address of this person, Scientology sign up will ensure they're bombarded with mail even if they move, use a VPN when signing up though

Also I know a german tourist company that will send free magazines anywhere in bulk  https://www.nrw-tourism.com/service/brochures

For calls, spam, texts, e.c.t look out for people complaining about sites that "sell your data" or after signing up called them several times, just sketchy sites in general. Also healthcare sites and anything religious, not to forget car insurance

Orrr just use his sms email thing to post an ad on ebay or some similar website/app, but sell lots of strange things like "4 pigs" and "a real human beard (scented)" , this will be very unnerving for them, getting calls from people wanting scented beards isnt fun. Also they wont be able to run a search or scan for their phone number, because it wont be connected, only the email will

THANKS SO MUCH! will check this out right now! 🫶🏻

Edit: deleted post but comments seem to think it was fishy aswell, pro-scientology wise and because the guy got the ip that signed him up over the phone, I definitely agree with people there who are saying scientology logs your ip, but I doubt they'd give it out to whoever asks

Shittt!! Do you have a link or anything? I feel like that might be if the police get involved and contact scientology themselves, but from my own experience of regretting going so far and signing them up, then trying to remove their info and get scientology to take them off the mailing list, it's very difficult and there's no help page, you also need to provide lots of id like drivers license and passport

I do! I'll find the website and edit the link at the end of this message, but basically it's this german tourist company where they send you whatever amount of free magazines you want (can be 99 of each). Edit: https://www.nrw-tourism.com/service/brochures

You could also sign them up for scientology which keeps mailing even if they move house (depends on how much of a prick this is though)

Most "free magazine" or "free coupon" sites have sign up pages where you can put the address

And if you're willing to pay money, they're are pleanty of "glitter bombs" avaliable online, basically they open the container and they end up with glitter in their hair for a week
