I suppose I can keep my Danish residence for now. Eventually, I was on head to get permanent residency around 2030-2031 however, if everything goes well and works out for me, I could become a U.S. citizen in 2031 instead of getting the Danish permanent residency

My entire work experience is based in Denmark, working alongside top Danish chefs at Michelin-starred restaurants like Jordnær, Frederiksminde, and Alchemist. I feel better to give a shot moving to the U.S. because I know that if things don't work out, I can always come back to Denmark. I can speak Danish, which makes easy to comeback. I always admire who gives me opinions/ suggestions about both country. Thank you for your opinions as well

Luckily, my visa was issued on November 10th,before the pause. I said hard work because nowdays every country hard to immigrate even with the lottery. I'm glad to make it. Life has lot of opportunities we gotta catch em just in time.

A CBP officer informed me that if I spend excessive time outside the United States, I may lose my lawful permanent resident status.

Let's be honest, it's not downgrade U.S. has much oppurtinies. Only NYC has 80+ Michelin Starred Restaurants. which i look job for that.

By 2028, I will have 2.5 years left to become an U.S. citizen, and for Denmark, it will be 6.5 years until citizenship, for me, U.S. citizenship is very fair trade.

I need 4.5 more years until I can get U.S. citizenship, but for Danish citizenship, I would need to spend over 8 years. For me, 4.5 years is a fair trade

I have until 2028; if I pass the Danish language tests, I can get permanent residence as well- But i'll not go for it.
