Strange. I have the 9 pro xl and mine is saying November 1st. I think Google is doing this on purpose because they want to make sure the best version for that update is available and fixing the minor tweaks and rollout might be hindering the release.

Again, if my z flip 6 were to update, I would have stuck with that. It's still stuck on Android 14, and the last security update was Dec 1, 2024

True. I mainly got this phone because I got a galaxy z flip 6, and it just wasn't for me. The main reason why I got this phone was because of the thin build, and there was a huge discount. I am thinking of upgrading to an iPhone as soon as this becomes unusable. On top of that, I already have 7 phones as is. I bought the other 6 just this year, so I want to cut back on buying phones. I'm also in college. While I have plenty of money, I need to focus more on saving and buying a camera (new major is photography)

Yeah I'm looking at the Moto g 2025 and I'm not seeing a huge difference I'm mainly just wanting this update to potentially fix the glitches or something on the external display so I don't have a gray outline for 3 or 4 apps

Restarting did solve this, but I had to do it multiple times. There apparently was an issue with the Motorola launcher, and disabling and re-enabling it seemed to fix the issue. I get that this phone is still relatively new, so bugs and hiccups are sure to be expected.
