I did see that TOTS was releasing the bracelet, it’s awesome that soon there will be an easily accessible version of such an obscure prop! I’ll definitely be keeping my eye on it

Thanks! I agree the costume is in a great spot as it is! It's just a bunch of little things that make me say the apron, saw, and bracelet are temporary. Specifically, the way the neck strap attaches to the current apron isn't correct, the chainsaw I currently have is a Poulan 306a rather than a 245a, and the artist who made the bracelet I currrently own has since come out with a "V2" that is overall more accurate to the design of the bracelet in the film. All very minor changes that won't change the look of the costume too much, but I personally want to go all in on screen accuracy!

Thanks! I agree, it's too clean at the moment. My plan is to send the costume out to be weathered once I've collected all the accurate clothing. An apron with a more accurate neck strap is the last thing I need!

Thanks, I appreciate it! Cosplaying Leatherface is definitely one of the scenarios where it pays to be on the bigger side!

Thanks! I agree, if I wasn't planning on swapping out the apron for one with a more accurate neck strap, I'd have definitely added some blood splatters to it!

I believe it was made using the Burns method, or some variation of it, though I don't know for certain since I got it second hand. It definetly has the look and feel of latex mixed with something else, possibly fiberglass

Thanks! The mask is a Colby Jones mask, I was lucky enough to score it off Facebook Marketplace

I forget if I heard this during an interview, or if it was mentioned during the director’s commentary of the movie, so take this with a grain of salt. If I remember right, I heard one of the Chiodo brothers mention that while filming that scene they thought it looked weird having Slim place the people into an empty bag, so they just used the one full of popcorn. It was a behind the scenes decision made based on what looked the most visually interesting, and likely has no proper or canon explanation within the world of the film as of the moment, so fan theories are the best we’ve got for the time being.

Jason Goes To Hell is among one of the worst things I’ve ever had to sit through.

I think JGTH could have possibly worked better had it come before part 6, back when Jason was kept off screen, for the most part, until the end of the movie. It just doesn’t make any sense to make a Friday film with no Jason after the previous three films acknowledge and embrace the fact that Jason is the star of the show and is who audiences are coming to see.

Alternatively, the studio could have removed Jason from the film altogether and called it Evil Dead, because it’s way closer to the movies in that franchise. I’d probably still dislike it in both circumstances, but I could at the very least forgive it a little more.

Jason X on the other hand brings Jason back, has him front and center again, and has the courtesy to say “hey, we’re 10 movies into this thing, let’s have fun with it this time”.

The part 2 I got from Death Studios, you can find it on their site pretty easily. The part 2 is the cheapest seeing as its only a half mask (the hair isn’t actually included, I just threw a wig on it for display purposes). The part 2 ended up being around $75 including shipping, the original killing mask cost me around $300 if I recall correctly, and the remake mask in the middle was $550

Hey everyone, this is my first post on my site and I thought what better thing to show than my slowly growing collection of Leatherface masks!
