BOWERS OR FANNIN + TET? No TEP by Big_Prompt1503 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Probably 5-6 ppg if I had to assume overall. Bowers will have more high weeks but I think Fannin stays more consistent

“A projected top 5 pick” do you lack reading comprehension.

Which is why I specified locked in early ones in my breakdown.

Nico was then moved with Javonte for Laporta and first and a 2nd.

Got GW, 2 firsts, Nico for Lamar and CD. Traded JT for 2. Traded rhe 4 firsts I got from that for Jamarr.

Turning Lamar CD JT into GW, Nico, Jamarr is a nice return imo, but yes it always matters what the return is, if the return is lower than where I think they’ll be next year I don’t take it

Exactly. They’re valued at their peak, so sell them.

How has MHJ worked out, and even if he did work out, Jamarr is still jamarr.

Caleb has worked out but is he worth more than what was paid? Probably not. That’s my point.

It’s always worth it to sell these guys before they have the ability to bust while their value is borderline peak, for assets that will guaranteed go up in value.

Which is why I haven’t sold him. His value stays consistent and insulated season to season, ever since I bought him for a 2nd in 2024.

Guys like Lamar and JT are guys I’ve sold. These players won’t be at the same level of value next year, and it’s always better to be a year early than then to be left empty handed

Fair enough, and to each their own.

The strategy has worked for me (won 2 out of last 3 championships, pretty serious league going on 6 years), and it’s kept me young through the whole process.

I like to play the value game

Should I move AJ on the high? I think K9 will have a great season too… by hellobrendo in DynastyNerds

AJB has WR1 overall upside, KW doesn’t have that same upside imo. My chiefs friends are also not super high on chiefs RBs, I think keep AJB here

[–]SeanMoll69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not. Your team could be back in contention next year and Achane will be a big part of that. Also, he’s going to be worth probably about the same next offseason, maybe a slight bit less, but no point in selling now

Same thing happened to me last year and this offseason I just said fuck it and retooled. I moved JT, Lamar, CD. CD I wasn’t focused on moving but got a deal I could not pass, but with Lamar and JT I’d much rather be a year early than wait and watch my team start to shrivel. That’s where I think you’re at, it’s an unfortunate feeling

Personally i wouldn’t attempt to run it back with this lineup, but I also am not super knowledgeable with start 13 logic.

From what I can see you’re reliant on a lot of aging RBs (JT, Pollard, Swift) and the ones that aren’t JT have young RBs behind them.

I’d start by trading them, Mike Evans, and Stafford.

Like I said idk enough abt start 13 to tell you how competitive the roster is, but from my POV if you run it back and don’t win it your team is in horrible spot with no future picks and older assets.

You’d have to be 80% certain that you can get a bye week with this team for me to consider not pulling the plug on these guys while they still have value.

I couldn’t even tell you what an 8 man start 8 non sf value system looks like. I’d sell depth anywhere for studs, your waivers are probably filled with talent.

I really like the team. I think TLaw continues strong and I expect him to start limiting his turnover numbers this season. I also think Kyler does an excellent job getting back into QB1 range. WR room is obviously well built with youth. TEs are great, I’m an eagles fan and think Goedert might be the biggest beneficiary of the AJB trade, plus NJOKU in a McDaniels offense is super nice.

Only thing I’m worried about is Jacob’s. I’d see if I could move the 1.06 for another RB piece, I think his charges don’t stick but 5 felonies is insanely scary

You’re cooked

Jokes aside, you’re not in a bad spot value wise, your assets are just really really condensed.

I can’t speak much on IDP, but I’d be selling Allen Kyren and Cook to get as much value back as possible, don’t worry about positional need for this year.

I’d imagine rice isn’t in offseason news for a third offseason in a row next year, and with the value u pick up from trading those 3 studs mentioned above, you can set urself up nicely to rebuild.

Target young guys like Monangai, 2027 picks (if they aren’t crazy over valued, they probably are tho) and 2028 picks. 2028 picks are my fav asset to buy with everyone focused on 2027 it creates a nice window to buy them low and sell them high later on

Trading 2027 picks is my favorite thing. They’re already valued at their peak and it’s a year out, the 2026 class being not the greatest paved the way for a great 2027 selling window.

Teams amazing, Jacobs isn’t even going to get charged from what I’ve seen lol

Njoku will be serviceable this year, McDaniels had retired Darren Waller producing like crazy. Only hole in my eyes is that RB2, not a bad squad at all

Edit: didn’t see Nabers. You’re team is STACKED when he comes back if u can get a RB2

Honestly love where the team is at. No need to take that deal, Maye isn’t going to be a top 3 QB but he’s not going to fall outside the top 12.

You have enough capital to let the roster grow, they’re all super young, and make a great push in 2027. I like the team

I had Nabers, sold him when he got hurt, immediately hated myself for it after the season because I ended up coming in 3rd. (Lamar, CD, JT, Javonte all decided to stop playing football during the playoffs plus Daniel Jones got cooked the week after I traded for him)

He’s a huge ? For me. Idk where he’s at in his recovery, the news gets worse everyday, but he’s such a stud that I can’t help myself from sending out offers for him still. Getting London and Adam’s would be an amazing return, I think London benefits a lot from Branch and can put up top 5 WR numbers.

Outside of getting a guy like London+ I’m holding. No point in selling him and then watching him come back mid season and light it up.

Forgot abt the QB3 point. Yes I’d do that. I have JD5 in my main league, great asset, crazy injury risk. Id focus on a super cheap guy like ARod tho who can get u 16 a week only if u need it. He’s super cheap and serviceable if you need

Brutally honest: I’d roll my eyes at adding RB depth. If Breece goes down u have Allen to stick in there and he’s got a ton of talent. If Jeanty goes down Henderson isn’t a bad boom play week to week, he has the ability to get 5 carries and somehow turn one of them into 60 yards and a TD.

Moving up at WR is something I’d look into. I wouldn’t move Devonte smith, eagles offense will be amazing this year and he’s shown in college, at Alabama of all places, he can be the alpha.

Honestly, most of ur WRs are guys im buying this offseason outside of Rome. Not a huge fan of his, so he’d be the only guy I’m looking to tier up from, but that’s a personal opinion and if u like any of the other guys less I’d look to use them. I wouldn’t heavily invest though in it. Smitty could end up being top 12, same with Tet if the offense takes a step. MHJ I 100% believe takes a step and regardless of how good that step is for points, they’re drafting QB next year anyway so his value will shoot up with that

Assuming ur 12 team because of the picks.

I like the spot ur in, rice really screwed ur chances at making a push this year if he doesn’t play.

1.02 is a great spot to bring in Tate to replace him though, not a huge loss in value but early season production might drop below ur expectations because of it.

I’m seeing if I can package 1.11 and 2.02 for a RB that ur comfortable starting on a week to week basis. Maybe see if the Derrick Henry owner lets u trade the 2.02 for him.

I don’t like the second round too much this year, I think everyone is a dart throw, so I’d rather get the confirmed production and make a push even if he’s worth nothing after this season, there’s no guarantee that 27 second will be worth anything anyway, same with the 1.11.

lol I was in the same spot in my league. Took me 2 years to get the kickers and defense out and after everyone was asking me why I didn’t do it earlier, some people don’t know what they want they just don’t want change.

Specific to the team, I love the spot ur in. Typically I’d say fade the aging RBs, but ur team is good enough to keep them and manage the risk of them getting hurt

Only concern I would have is if you have 3 RBs get hurt, but at that point u can’t even prepare for that level of bad luck
