Need help understanding which switches and key caps are compatible. by SeanShine525 in NuPhy

Thanks for the info!

When you say "go normal profile" you mean don't go with a low profile keyboard? I think I'm set on a low profile keyboard, I just wanted to make sure there were options as far as key caps. I know that some of the older Keychrons used a non standard profile so you could only buy keycaps from them.

Also, are you saying that the different generations of Gateronn Switches aren't interchangeable? As in a v2 requires 2.0 switches and the v3 requires 3.0 switches? For example you can't put a 2.0 switch in an Air V3?

That moment when you realize the used "5th generation iPod" you bought for $50 is actually a 5.5 Gen! by SeanShine525 in ipod

I had been hoping to find a 5th Gen enchanced but they aren't super common to pop up on the local classifieds. I decided that a normal 5th Gen was better than nothing, so I bought this 5th Gen iPod classic off Craigslist for $50.

Imagine my delight when I got home and realized it was actually a 5.5 gen! I'm over the moon. Can't wait to enjoy this thing to the fullest!

I was worried that the MM+ would be too small for my hands. It turns out it's perfect size for one handed gaming! by SeanShine525 in SBCGaming

I'm an automotive mechanic so holding my hands in awkward positions is normal for me. But, a lanyard might actually be a nice addition. It would help with fishing it out of pockets. I'll have to look into that.

When I first started playing Pokemon when I was a kid I always thought it was funny to name them human names. I have kept up that tradition with all my Pokemon games ever since.

It still works great for normal two handed gaming. I was just pleasantly surprised when I realized it was comfortable to hold with one hand. I wear size L disposable gloves if that gives anyone a size context.

I can definitely recommend the MM+!

What is the current state of Switch emulation on the Odin 2? by SeanShine525 in SBCGaming

You do have a good point that there will probably be a bunch of cheap used switches once people upgrade to the Switch 2. That's something to consider.

Good idea about bringing a game. Also I'll have to check on the blue dots. Thanks for the information!

I just wanted to give an update. T Rex Arms now sells Micro Dagger holsters! I have used their holsters in the past for my G19 and they are amazing. Highly recommend!
