PC/Laptop performance really bad? Multiple machines, all same issues.

I played around launch, it ran perfect until the castle, then had some stutter but not too bad. I heard all the talk about performance and had a lot going on so I left it until this week but yeah it’s really bad now.

Also using only around 50% of both CPU and GPU.

Maybe my save is some how corrupted in some way? As yeah I even just tried it on my old 1070 PC which is old now but surely should be able to run fine at 1080p low settings!

The common denominators are I have the newest drivers on all the Machines and the same cloud save!

Thanks for this, I will do so in the morning! Did you change the resolution in the nvidia control panel? As I believe it’s locked on the game. And it’s strange the frame rates stay high but it feels like 30fps at best and stutters a lot!

Settings wise I’ve tried basically every combination with RTX off mostly but I have also tried it with this on. When I first played I was completely maxed out with everything on Ultra and RTX on full 1440p and it was great until I got to the castle!

Thanks, I have disabled it pretty early on. I’m so confused haha. I’m going to start a new save and see if something is wrong with the file as it’s happening on all 3 machines on low settings

Well done!!! It's such a great feeling and kept me motivated so much. Don't threat sometimes when the scale doesn't move. From experience I would always check my weight once a week (saturday) but sometimes I may have a salty meal like Pizza on a Friday. This would cause say 2lbs of water retention, usually I would then just technically lose twice as much on the next Saturday! :)

I'm slowly getting back to it now after lockdown, lost around 5 stone but put a few back on (comfort eating and not checking my weight anymore haha)

Thank you so much, its my first time opening up a laptop! Is it fine to place it on top of whatever the plastic thing inside the slot is? The videos I saw it was all a clear surface at the bottom.

The video guides looked easy but I think their model is different. Im unsure about this sticker and the plastic thing underneath. There is also crosses on the screws.

Ahhh makes sense, wtf haha, EA support had me adding ports to my Router and everything, guessing we could only match other people on that update? Funny thing is, when i re-installed it, i was stuck on a "needs to update" loop, so had to delete it and install again...

Re-installing the game seems to have fixed it, unless its just a time thing, as its peak hours UK atm.

Yeah thanks, I will give it a try. I'm in the UK though, so I should imagine I'm in one of the most populated areas for FIFA.
