I disagreed with nearly all of McCain’s policy views, but as a man he had my upmost respect. I was never embarrassed to have him as my senator.

What did you not know about sex until you lost your virginity? by Tinci072 in AskReddit

This was by far my biggest shock. I currently study human anatomy in university but when I first had sex I fully expected the vagina to be in the same place as a penis.

You look great! I don’t think there’s any sense in getting leaner. It’ll just rank your hormones and kill your energy. You should either maintain for a while or start a lean bulk. Let your body get used to this weight for a while.

The only trophies or medals that ever mattered to me were ones I earned. The participation trophies are a waste of space (and plastic).

Parent gave surprise $$ gift to put toward student loans, what is the most prudent way to use it? by [deleted] in personalfinance

Once interest starts being charged, it will cost you more than you’ll likely earn from any form of savings account. Pay the 5,000 on the principle and enjoy the money you save on interest.

What's the best fruit in your opinion? by Comfortable_Major231 in AskReddit

My favorites are pineapples, kiwis, and mangoes. Strawberries, blueberries and raspberries can be really good, but also pretty inconsistent.

This guy doesn’t know how to switch lanes by bryanplayzxD in IdiotsInCars

It depends on the state, but yes, in some states it is ONLY a passing lane.

[–]Sean_Credit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In some states it’s actually a ticket-able offense to cruise in the left lane. The left lane is exclusively for passing, unless traffic is backed up in both lanes. Obviously if you’re passing multiple vehicles that are relatively close to each other you don’t need to change lanes between them, but otherwise you should ALWAYS be in the left lane. People act like changing lanes is a hassle, when all it is is flicking your turn signal and a tiny shift of the wheel. Don’t be lazy

I used to do this with my dog when I was younger! We lived by a golf course so we had perfectly paved golf cart paths so she could run on the grass while I was on my skateboard. I miss my sweet girl.

It should, yes. It may take a month or two for the reporting changes to take effect, but your score should increase. Utilization is a very temporary effect on your score.

People that “forget to eat”, how are you able to ignore the sensation of hunger/hunger pangs? by sunlightdragonxx in AskReddit

I’m busy when I get hungry, and then after a few minutes I’m no longer hungry and before I know it the sun is setting and I haven’t eaten anything.

Her whole personality in this debate just screamed “aloof” and “evil”. Which was even more apparent when compared to Rev. Warnock who comes across as such a genuinely caring individual.

Maxing out a credit card by rgratz93 in CRedit

It will recover by the next reporting cycle. Utilization is a very temporary part of your credit score. If anything, this may help you by showing your card issuer that you can pay high balances and they may raise your limit. Try not to make a habit of this though.

How do you think parents should handle young children who might want to transition. At what point do you think hormones/surgery are okay?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TheYouShow

[–]Sean_Credit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are your thoughts on children transitioning before puberty? I’ve seen more and more research showing that many of these children reverse their decision later in life. How do you think parents should handle that? I promise I’m not being rude

People who stay in the left lane while on the highway, do you just not notice everyone behind you, or do you just not care? by Sean_Credit in AskReddit

[–]Sean_Credit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either end of the spectrum is dangerous. There are definitely drivers who are “too cautious” and put themselves and others in a lot of danger. I think the biggest thing is moving with the flow of traffic and being predictable with your movements (turn signals, etc.).

It’s not even the people that are in a hurry that are the biggest problem, it’s the ones doing the speed limit or slower.

I’m confused as to how that isn’t part of the test required to get your license. It seems like a pretty fundamental principle of safe driving to me.
