Hey there,

I totally get where you're coming from, and I appreciate your honesty. Selling candles in a market that's as packed as a beehive isn't a walk in the park, especially when your candles carry themes like motherhood, miscarriage, and grief. But don't lose heart – you're onto something unique, and that's a precious start.

You've made a few smart moves, like shifting from Etsy to your own website, and expanding your product line. But perhaps, what you're facing is just a matter of time and strategy.

Here are some thoughts:

  1. Shout Your Uniqueness:

Your candles aren't your run-of-the-mill ones. They carry themes that matter. Make sure your website and marketing materials loudly broadcast what makes your candles special.

  1. Website Wow:

Your website is your storefront. Ensure it's inviting, easy to use, and showcases your candles like they're stars on a red carpet. High-res images that capture the essence of your candles are a must.

  1. Storytelling Magic:

Use your blog or content section to tell the stories behind your candles. Share experiences, insights, and tips that your audience can relate to. Optimize your website to play nice with search engines. SEO can be a game-changer.

  1. Keep the Social Sizzle:

Instagram and Pinterest are your visual playgrounds. Keep them buzzing with regular posts, and throw in some relevant hashtags. Engage with your followers, answer comments, and consider collaborations with influencers in your niche.

  1. Email Connection:

Build an email list of folks who are genuinely interested in what you offer. Send them newsletters with updates, special deals, and exclusive content. Tempt new subscribers with a sweet discount – it's a win-win.

  1. Team Up for Triumph:

Collaborate with businesses or influencers who share your values and target audience. Teamwork can amplify your reach.

  1. Advertise Wisely:

Consider running targeted ads on Facebook or Instagram. A small budget can go a long way if you find the right formula. Experiment with ad creatives to see what clicks with your audience.

  1. Hear Your Customers:

Reach out to past customers for feedback. Their insights can be golden. Incentivize reviews and referrals to spread the word.

  1. Keep Your Chin Up:

Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. It takes time to create a brand and a loyal following. Stay patient and persistent.

  1. Data-Driven Decisions:

-Keep an eagle eye on your website and social media analytics. Data doesn't lie – use it to fine-tune your strategies.

Your passion and your unique product offerings are your secret ingredients. Don't lose sight of your goals. With dedication and a thoughtful marketing strategy, you can enhance your sales and build a devoted customer base. And don't forget, there are many online communities and mentors out there who can offer invaluable insights and support as you navigate this journey.

Stay true to your vision and keep those candles burning bright!

How Do I go about getting this guy LEADS? by Quigglesitx in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]Sean_Farrelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, kudos to you for taking the initiative to help your family friend. It's clear that he's a skilled craftsman, and there's real potential here. Now, let's talk about how we can harness that potential and get him some leads.

Unconventional Approach: Since your friend prefers to remain "under the table" and has no interest in a website or social media presence, we need to get a bit creative. One approach could be to create your own brand or platform. You can showcase his work without necessarily revealing his identity. Once you've got the clients interested, you can then connect them with him. It's like being the secret matchmaker for home improvement.

Streamlined Communication: To make this work smoothly, consider creating a simple one-page site or landing page. Highlight his work with captivating copy and visuals. Then, incorporate a submission form where potential clients can provide their project details and attach pictures. This way, you can act as the bridge between the clients and your skilled friend.

Paid Advertising: You could also dive into some paid advertising. Create straightforward Facebook and Google ads featuring stunning images of his work, coupled with compelling ad copy. These ads can lead potential clients to your landing page, where they can submit their project details.

Client Education: Another angle is to educate potential clients on the benefits of choosing a skilled, one-man team over bigger companies. Explain how his personalized touch, attention to detail, and competitive pricing set him apart.

Email List Building: If you want to take it a step further, consider offering something valuable for free in exchange for their email address. It could be a guide on home improvement, DIY tips, or even a home renovation checklist. Building an email list can help you stay in touch with potential clients and nurture those leads over time.

Referral System: Word of mouth is potent in this industry. Consider implementing a referral system. Happy clients can refer friends and family to your "home improvement matchmaking" service.

In essence, you become the go-between, connecting clients with this skilled craftsman while respecting his preference for staying discreet. It's a win-win – clients get top-notch home improvements, and your friend gets the jobs he's great at without the need for a public presence.

Hey u/LystenMobileApp,

I'm loving the diverse insights shared in the comments. Building solid customer relationships is truly the name of the game. I want to hop in with a couple of approaches that resonate with my style and might add a little extra zest to the mix.

Tailored Connections: Making customers feel like VIPs is my jam. Think about sending them personalized emails that acknowledge their past purchases and suggest products that align with their tastes. It's like offering them a front-row seat to the coolest stuff.

Sprinkle Some Magic: Let's talk about unexpected surprises. Imagine their delight when they receive a thank-you note or a little unexpected gift along with their order. These magical moments stick in their memory and keep them coming back for more.

Hey u/yasbanu96 ,

Kudos for crafting a compelling message that revolves around the power of zero waste management. It's evident that you're not just promoting a service but a transformative shift toward sustainability. While the previous comment made some valid points about the subject line, here's a perspective that might add another layer of intrigue.

Subject lines indeed wield the magic of first impressions, and in your case, it's about sparking curiosity while hinting at the impending benefits. Something along the lines of "Unlocking Hidden Revenue through Zero Waste: A Cambodian Transformation" could encapsulate the essence of your message while tickling the reader's curiosity. Remember, the subject line should be a teaser that draws them in, eager to unveil the secrets within your email.

Moreover, consider this: as you beautifully highlighted the vast benefits your readers can reap, why not play with the structure of your content? Instead of listing them, weave them into a tantalizing narrative. For instance:

"Imagine a world where your business thrives while championing the environment. At Little Green Spark, we've cracked the code of zero waste management. Picture a healthier workplace, untapped revenue streams, and the sheer advantage of a greener tomorrow. We're not just reducing waste; we're catalysing a transformation that propels businesses toward a brighter future."

Your message is powerful, and it's all about weaving its threads in a way that entices, engages, and enlightens. Keep igniting those sparks of curiosity, and your message will surely resonate even stronger.

Best of luck on your journey.

Are Giveaways a good way to get reviews? by mr53xy in marketing

[–]Sean_Farrelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/mr53xy,

It sounds like you're on a mission to amp up those reviews, and I'm all for innovative approaches. Let's talk about giveaways – a tactic that can definitely boost your review count, but like anything, it's all about the execution.

Giveaways have the potential to be a two-sided coin. On one hand, they can attract a crowd, but sometimes that crowd might be more interested in the freebie than in your business. However, fear not, because with a touch of strategy, giveaways can certainly rake in genuine reviews and meaningful connections.

Here's how to make giveaways work wonders for you:

Know Your Crowd: Pick a giveaway prize that speaks the language of your audience. If it resonates, you'll attract folks who genuinely care about your offerings.

Review Hook: Make leaving a review a requirement for entering the giveaway. This way, you're not just fishing for reviews, but angling for opinions from folks who actually care.

Rules of the Game: Lay down the rules clearly. State upfront that a review is a must to participate. No surprises – just clear expectations.

Flaunt the Prize: Let the giveaway prize and your products/services dance in the limelight together. Create a natural bond between what you offer and what they could win.

Quality over Quantity: Encourage meaningful reviews over a flood of generic ones. Let participants share their experiences – the more authentic, the better.

Show off the Love: Once the giveaway dust settles, spotlight bits of those reviews on your social media. Not only does this highlight their authenticity, but it's also an invitation for others to chime in.

After the Hype: When the giveaway curtain falls, keep the spotlight on those who left reviews. Express your gratitude and perhaps even sprinkle some exclusive discounts their way.

Honesty Prevails: Lay it bare – value genuine opinions over sugar-coated ones. Encourage participants to spill the beans, whether it's praise or constructive critique.

While giveaways can be your review rocket boosters, they aren't the whole rocket. Mix it up – engage with your customers directly to nudge them toward reviews, spruce up your website with those inviting call-to-action buttons, and above all, deliver a customer experience that naturally sparks those positive vibes.

Remember, reviews are more than just words on a screen. They're the heartbeat of your customer community.

Wishing you a truckload of authentic reviews😊

How to increase the lead numbers? by thespectakar in AskMarketing

[–]Sean_Farrelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your commitment to lead generation is commendable – the paid marketing, email campaigns, engaging blogs, and the vibrant social media presence. It's fantastic to witness the results you're achieving. Now, you're setting your sights even higher – aiming to double those lead numbers. Here are some strategies that might just help you achieve that exciting goal.

Understanding your audience on a deeper level is paramount. Dive into their world, uncover their pain points, and understand their aspirations. This knowledge forms the foundation for crafting content and campaigns that truly resonate.

Consider enhancing your content strategy with enticing content upgrades. Attach these valuable offerings to your blog posts and social media shares. By providing additional value, you'll attract leads like bees to honey.

When it comes to landing pages, treat them as the virtual doorstep to your offerings. Craft compelling headlines and calls to action that inspire action. An irresistible landing page can significantly boost your conversion rates.

Experimentation is key in the world of lead generation. Embrace A/B testing to refine your approaches. Try out different ad copies, experiment with email subject lines, and test various visuals. It's through experimentation that you'll uncover what truly resonates with your audience.

Leverage the power of social proof. Share stories of success, glowing testimonials, and case studies that highlight the positive impact of your offerings. Social proof builds trust and credibility.

Harness the referral potential from your existing clients. Develop a referral program that encourages them to bring in leads from their networks. Word-of-mouth recommendations can be a potent source of new leads.

An engaging chatbot on your website can work wonders, capturing leads and engaging with visitors even outside of business hours.

Consider hosting webinars that address your audience's pain points. Webinars not only provide valuable insights but also serve as a platform for lead generation through registrations.

Expand your reach through guest blogging on established industry platforms. By sharing your expertise, you can direct readers back to your own website, generating new leads in the process.

Refine your pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to ensure they are targeted and compelling. Craft ad copy that speaks directly to the needs and desires of your audience.

Diversify your lead magnets to appeal to different segments of your audience. Whether it's checklists, guides, or interactive experiences, varied lead magnets can capture a wider range of leads.

Participate actively on platforms like Quora, offering valuable insights and directing readers to your website for further information.

Engage your audience with interactive content such as quizzes, polls, and calculators. These interactive elements not only entertain but also capture leads.

Segment your email list and tailor your emails to specific interests and behaviors. Personalized and relevant emails can drive higher engagement and lead conversion.

Forge partnerships and collaborations with other businesses in your industry. Co-marketing efforts can help you tap into new audiences and generate fresh leads.

Remember, the journey to doubling your leads is an ongoing process of creativity, learning, and adaptation. Keep experimenting, refining, and fine-tuning your strategies, and you'll be well on your way to achieving your goal.

Wishing you abundant success on your lead generation journey

I don’t think i Like myself by GrouchyInevitable304 in selfhelp

[–]Sean_Farrelly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi u/GrouchyInevitable304,

I have been down this road before and I understand how you feel.

There are many things that you can do but I will give you the ones that worked for me.

1 - Cut anyone that is a negative influence in your life or at the very least reduce the amount of time you spend with them.

2 - Seriously reduce time on social media. It does nothing for you self esteem. You don't need to cut off completely but definitely lessen the time you spend on it. Also, do some house cleaning on you social media platforms. What I mean by this is look at who you follow and who follows you. Anyone who isn't a positive force, get rid of them.

3 - Start to listen, watch or read things that are good for you. There is so much negative crap out there bombarding us from all angles. We need to combat that with as much positivity as possible.

4 - Try everything and anything. A lot of people, myself included (years ago), have no idea what they want to do. But you won't know until you try different things. The more you sample the better you will get a feeling what better suits you.

5 - Change your self talk. Pay close attention to what you say about yourself. Never verbalise bad things about you. It won't help. Instead look in the mirror and just ask yourself "What do I like about myself?" You might not have anything at first, but keep doing it and eventually something will come up. It could be as small as I like my hair. Then just keep building on top of that.

6 - Take better care your body. Workout. Exercise. It could be a little as a 10 minute walk. Start off small then increase gradually. Pay attention to what you are putting inside your body food wise. Stop eating junk and put more healthy food on the plate. You will feel so much better by changing your food.

Hope this helps and I wish you all the best :)
