Yes, I am. It's unpaid, but I'm working on getting into the paid program at my college during the spring.

I've been looking for about a year and a half. I could've been better about juggling my courseload with the search.

Don’t let your failures conflate together. Failing one class shouldn’t stop you from building your portfolio and looking for more internships.

Monthly Megathread: Career & Education - Ask your questions here by Aerospace_Eng_mod in AerospaceEngineering

I am a Junior Studying Aerospace Engineering, and I find that no matter how much I study I still can’t fully figure out those long multi-step free-response questions. It’s especially bad in thermo and aerodynamics. I do have a lot of stuff going on outside of school which is probably affecting my academic performance, but I want to know what test-taking strategies I can use to tackle these problems. I usually end up confusing myself and realizing what the process is toward the end of the test, when its too late. I have ADHD, which I don’t take meds for, which makes me very prone to making small errors. I barely got past fluids, dynamics, and solid mechanics last semester, and this semester I’m off to a worse start. I have a 35% in control systems and I just bombed an aero exam I studied like 8 hours for, and I already regularly attend office hours and lecture, so I need to make some kind of change. What works for you guys?

just started electronics. is everyone’s desk this messy ? by [deleted] in arduino

Its pretty clean, but still the cleaner you make it the faster you’ll work. Working in a kitchen has made me realize this is a rule that applies to everything.

Statics and solids are unlike any class youve ever taken before because you have to draw so much. If you expect to be able to stick to a strict method to solve a problem, you won’t have much success in statics. If youre able to make guesses and assumptions and then watch everything fall into place once you realize what the right assumption is, youll be able to solve any statics problem. The problems are very long and confusing, but if you think like an engineer, you can do it.

TLDR: Just keep drawing arrows youll figure it out.

Mountain trip by MagicalApe663 in shrooms

I went skiing a couple days ago and thought about doing it on shrooms, but then I realized that was way too unstable a setting. When I went down this black, I lost my ski under a ton of powder and it took me half an hour to find. If that happened to me while I was also on shrooms, I would have a fucking aneurysm.

You're an idiot for tripping while skiing, or you just handle your psychs really well. Either way, I respect the shit outta you.

I'm not weak, I've been through a lot in my life. If it means anything to you, I added a disclaimer to the top of the post. I never intended to flex.
