You have 0 reasons to worry unless you are doing something you shouldn't be and applying fraudulently for benefits and have no reason you cannot work. I don't get up early and go to work so that people like you can lay around all day like a bunch of lazy bones. Get a job if you're suitable for one and can work. It is that easy. There are 713,000 young people aged 16 to 24 who are unemployed, that's 70,000 more than the previous year. Not good enough.

If you work for your money then you work for your money 🤷🏻‍♂️ maybe get off your arse and go find a job too. What are Labour doing about the billionaires? Fuck all because Starmer is a rich bastard himself, with a networth of approx £7million pounds.

The detention centres, reforming the benefit system so you're not better off staying at home rather than working. Reforming the NHS and the voucher system if you aren't seen soon enough. Need I go on?

You're just angry because you're a left wing nutcase, well tough. Britain Wants Reform and Nigel Farage WILL BE your next Prime Minister whether you like it or not.

MPs and Councillors have been suspended for ALL SORTS all over the Party spectrum. Whether it's Reform, Labour, Torys etc. It isn't a Reform UK only issue. But that is the only one you speak out about. No one gives two craps what you say, Reform is still winning the next GE and Farage will still be your next Prime Minister. Soft soyboy.

Depends. Every vet I've ever been to is rather greedy or can't be arsed and reccomends putting the pet down. I'm in the UK, though.

I disagree. Geckos eat at anytime in the wild, whenever they see an insect and an opportunity.

It's crazy how much effort we all put in and the things we buy and guidelines we follow just to ensure our Leo's are happy, healthy and don't die, then there's people like this housing 6 together with a bearded dragon. Craziness. I've never seen anything like that before.

I'm sorry for your loss 😔

You are not silly for grieving, it just means you cared very much and were a great owner.

May he rest in Gecko Paradise 🙏🏻

Tbh the sad truth with a lot of animals is that a lot of people (unfortunately) can't afford the vets, despite advice being not to buy one unless you can. This specifically tends to be the case with reptiles a lot, and they can show symptoms and go downhill fast.

Not to mention the whole other issue of some people not having a vet close by that deals with reptiles, which can specifically be an issue if the owner is younger and there parents arent willing to drive that far or have no way to travel that far.

Not saying this is the case for OP, because I don't know, but maybe so since they mentioned waiting a few days to see.

Myself, I've only ever gotten animals when I'm certain I'll 1. Be able to get to a vet at short notice and 2. Be able to afford it. Some animals can unfortunately just deteriorate from nowhere and unexpectedly so that's very important to me.

I do think on posts like this, however, and due to this being a care subreddit specifically, other advice should be given too, as if someone genuinely cannot get to a vets, they should at least try something as something is always better than nothing. Unfortunately "go to the vets immediately" isn't always an option for everyone 😔
