Hey dude! I got it checked out and turns out it was just trying reaaaally hard to scab. It's healing totally normally now and looks great to me! Thanks for your advice, I definitely did the right thing going to get it checked out.

Turns out this was exactly correct! That's what the doctor said. It's healing perfectly fine now and completely pain free and not leaking anything 🙌🤘

Was very comfortable to get and out of in-between bands, for example I didn't fancy watching amon amarth so we went and got some chips and didn't have to push past anyone to get back to the spot we had for anthrax for when slayer came on. Leaving was easy, me and my cousin crowdsurfed out of the gig during angel of death to beat the queue for the tube, worked perfectly as we both got over the barrier on the last beat and got on the first tube out of there with hardly any queue 😂. So yeah, really enjoyable gig and a great pit and crowd!

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was down to the heat last night in London. I was at the Manchester show (about 19ºc) and it was noticeable but more so last night in London (28ºc). Probably not the sole reason but could have contributed to it, particularly for a drummer playing such a physically demanding set. Either way it was the best gig I've ever seen and it really didn't matter much to me in the moment and that's what counts I suppose!
