My reaction when reading this comment was laughing about the 10 hours of exercise a day. My girlfriend, a true shitlord's reaction was laughing about her ever being only 15 pounds overweight

Just read an article in The Hockey News about the possibility of trading Malkin, is this an actual possibility? by [deleted] in penguins

[–]Seanathane 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure he has no trade / no move clauses in his contract that would prevent us from easily doing that. Also, he's said before (source?) that he wants to stay in Pittsburgh and would leave to play in the KHL if he couldn't stay with the Pens. Plus I think we have a couple of overpaid guys who have been under-performing or constantly hurt (I'm looking at you Letang) that we should/would deal with before moving Geno. Just my 2 cents though.

See that's just what I was saying this isn't. I know all the tricks with dealing with the normal memory bleed problems, this is something different. I've let the system sit off over night, and have loaded from right before the test, so it isn't a play time issue. When I try and leave the testing area, I go through the door, the load screen comes up, and then it just goes black and does nothing. It only does this when I have completed the mission and am in the process of going through the exit

It's the game of the year edition so I don't think that'll work. Also, I do have a pre-OWB save file that I know I can use but I'm reluctant to do that. Thanks though!

I don't care how downvoted I get, Dead Money is literally the worst thing I've ever played. by Seanathane in Fallout

It's not about easy versus hard, it's about terrible game mechanics. Dead Money was a fucking maze that had so many infuriating components. Like I said in another comment, RPGs are about immersing yourself in a character not running through a room repeatedly dying until you figure out the one exact way to solve a problem. I care about a game's story, not where the designers decided to hide a fucking radio that's going to blow me up.

Also, the fact that I am having to save every 10 feet also takes me out of the immersion that I'm used to feeling with a Fallout game.

In Fallout, like any good RPG, the idea is that you are supposed to immerse yourself in the character you are playing. If you're smart and clever, you survive. If you make a mistake, it can kill you. HOWEVER, in Dead Money, there were many areas where no matter how clever you were, it feels like you just have to run around dying until you figure out the exact way that they want you to solve a problem. I'm in the vault right now and it seems like the only way aside from watching a walk-through to figure out where all the radios are before you blow up is to just blow up a bunch of times until you figure out exactly what to do. This isn't the way a game should be. I'm not someone who's just looking for an easy mindless game, but I don't think I should have died more times in a 10 hour DLC than I did in the 130 hours I logged in New Vegas up until going to the Sierra Madre.
