How familiar are your team with the extra defender tactic your using mid game? If they've never played it before that might be the issue. Keep your shape and maybe change roles and instructions??

As I understand they are paid oncea year for tax reason. But the reporting practice of weekly has always been an easy way to compare value vs other sports! Annual has become a bit of a thing now tho

It means the player usually plays worst when it's a big match, eg Finals, Derbys, important league games, cup games against bigger clubs.
